Unbreakable: The Buckskin & her Freedom

When running thru the sage brush, one must always watch their back. Wild horse run with a herd, they need it for survival. I too need my heard but I won’t stop when I find them and make them pay. Pay for turning me out, pay for separating my family. Pay for the death of my twin. All because they were scared of our power. Now they really should be.

There is nothing more dangerous to my kind then turning a young one away, or worse placing them in a human orphanage. We aren’t made for the city or town. We need to run wild and free. I need to let my jet black hair shine in the sun, I need to feel soft meadow grass under my feet. I need to join my family, to finally let loose and really be myself.

I wish I was something cool like werewolf, with sharp teeth and claws. Stronger than the average man, faster more resilient and so beautiful. If only I could be like him.
