Today is finally the day. After spending the last few days scheming and lying to other people, I had no regrets. I had done whatever I could do. No matter if I succeeded or not, all would be settled today.

With a determined spirit, I walked across the corridor, inviting various kinds of gazes from other students. I paid no heed to them and kept focusing on what's ahead. It's weird, but I didn't feel nervous at all.

From behind me, I could hear a familiar voice. I turned around and found Mrs. Victoria was standing a few meters behind me. She wore her usual white lab coat, but her long hair was tied in a bun, highlighting her small face and soft features. She looked extremely beautiful and elegant.

"Mrs. Victoria," I said as I bowed slightly.

"Did you have a good rest last night?" asked Mrs. Victoria as she walked beside me.

"Pretty well."

"Are you nervous?"
