The solemn atmosphere inside refreshed my mind. It washed away my uncertainty and replaced it with wariness. All teachers' gazes fell on Aslan, who appeared unbothered being surrounded by adults like this.

"Miss Williams, this student is…?" Mr. Hudson recovered quickly from his stupor and asked me.

"He is the witness I was talking about. His name is Aslan." I looked back at him with a smile. He was silent for a moment before nodding briefly. 

"Nice to meet you. I'm Aslan Gardner, K Academy's second year."

Gasps of surprise and murmuring noises came from all directions. Mr. Hudson looked pleasantly surprised, while Mrs. Gabrielle was visibly pissed with this development.
