Who Divorced The Queen?

“Victoria, I wish for a divorce. I am in love in Jessica.”

“My king! You are leaving the queen for the lady?” The priest exclaimed as he questioned why he ever showed up in the first place. As if he could rebuke the king’s request.

I lift my hands up to silence the priest. I knew it would come eventually. But, I did not know how she would set it all up. “If that is what you wish, you shall receive it.” I had to say, the girl was clever. She managed to grasp him in her clutches. I took the napkin and wiped my mouth. “We were never close to begin with. If you are able to do such unholy acts without consequences then I should be able to as well. I shall marry another man and not be stopped from doing so.”

I looked up at him. Seeing his shocked face made me even more determined. Just you wait, I will marry another king better than you. I deserve better. What did I not do all these years for you?
