Chapter 55: Helio's past

Helio felt his lips perk up into a smirk as he faced Cassian's anger-filled glare. Never before had the latter given him this type of look. The grand duke and he have been allies for the longest time and only now did Helio find Cassian useful. 

To complete his intent, Cassian was nothing but a pawn to Helio. He wanted to somehow bend the former to his will so that he could get his revenge on Seraphina, the woman that killed his Sophia. 

Bringing down Seraphina, the only empress of their empire was not that easy. That woman was cunning and as well as too intelligent for him to attack her. Helio was just an Archduke who is ultimately the subject of his empire. Even being the Emperor's elder brother meant nothing in front of the Empress, the mother of the Findara empire.
