It's a brilliant story created with a lot of humor. Excellent characters — you finally have some characters that are not the usual MC. It is also drawn well and actually very good translated, except that the text may be a little bit too small for the screen of your handy.

It's a pretty good historical comic, as far as I can tell, the costumes drawn are pretty accurate depictions of what was worn in the Ming dynasty royal court. I am not sure what is with the storyline, but hey, drawings and characters are up to point.

So looking at the art quality, it was fine. Well drawn. However looking at the story, there was far too much bouncing around. I read 6 chapters and I still have no idea what is happening. Besides that, the text of the fine print is too small to read. If this was a regular book that is fine, since you can bring the image close to your face. However, this is a mobile “book” it isn’t good to bring your device close to the face. Also you can’t zoom, so it make reading this story difficult. Regardless it was far too much side info to understand the main plot. It’s supposed to be a story, not a history lesson for Chinese history. Review over....

Honest Review The Good: Love the alternate history and the quirks of all of the characters makes it fun to learn more about them. The Bad: Drawing quality is lacking, the story is extremely hard to follow due to the extreme lack of introductions, panel order is hard to follow and the characters themselves are predictable. The Neutral: I found it hard to follow and can't get in to the story, might just not be my kinda story. The comedy also feels forced at some points.
