Despite her aptitude in music and singing, none of Bing Shi's songs became a hit. As lame as it sounded, if she wasn't sticking to popular people (like Li Jie) and forcing herself out there, she would still be an unknown artist like many other talented individuals. 

Honestly, even if she spent her free time on honing her skill, she still wouldn't be the creme of the crop. There was just too big of a competition. Not to mention that she wasn't passionate about this particular thing. At least other artists were enthusiastic about sharing their craft with the world…
