Kapitel 297: CHAPTER 297: LET GO OF ME!!!

"It must have been really scary. Back then I just thought you just need to snap out of it," she said as she dodged another attack.

Then she laughed at her own monologue.

What do kids their age know?

It was a shock and all they could think was to stop him from hurting others and most of all from hurting himself.

So how would she think the way she was doing now?

"Ugh," a moment of slip and she was pushed back by his water ball.

"Stormie!!" Felix rushed to her side.

"We just have to make him unconscious," Felix told her as he supported her up.

Stormie shook her head, "He will never snap out of it. I have to do this while his awake. Right now the sudden surge of memory caused him to be stuck on that particular memory. I have to get him out of it while being awake."

"We can just do something about that memory," Felix answered.

Stormie for the second time shook her head, "It is precisely because we chose to let him forget, we chose to runaway that it ended up like this. But then if he kept running away, when will he be able to move forward?"

You can run all you want, as fast as you can, as far as your legs could possibly bring you. But then, will you really be able to confidently say that you have overcome it?

To confidently say that you will be fine in the long run?

Stormie biterly laughed at the solution they all found back in the day.

Both them, the kids, and the adults who can't do anything about it.

Sometimes, when kids stop crying and starts laughing again, showing that they have forgotten what it was that caused them pain and trauma. The adults would heave a sigh of relief and would think, it is better this way.

No, she wasn't thinking about each and every adult out there.

But there are some who ends up having this wrong thought.

And then everything will be forgotten.

Years passed and the kids that were hurt would grow.

But somehow at some point, just like now, those painful memories came hunting them back as if saying, 'We are still here, you can't shake us off by simply running away'.

And then just like a vicious cycle of pain, everything will return to that grown up child and he would be once again in pain.

Just like Nixon in front of Stormie.

Images of him laughing out loud, enjoying his time and teasnig his friends.

Memories of their silly fights and nonstop teasing about their appearances came to Stormie like a dam that was suddenly opened.

Yet comparing all those to the him in front of her now, she felt like rushing back to the past and confronting her younger self.

'It was not enough, you didn't save him enough. If others can't, then you who argues with him the most. The you that watches him the most. The you that lost so much sleep just to you can find him. You could have been able to save him more. Save him better.'

Then realization hit her.

All the emotions she felt with the sudden change in their interaction.

Everything that kept making her confused cleared up like the early morning mist lifting up the veil as the sun rises shining up the field, making everything visible.

When realization his her, pain crossed her eyes at the thought of being unable to do anything for him properly.

Felix understood right there and then, he had lost this fight.

Because the pain in Stormie's eyes were completely visible upon the thought that Nixon will forever be scarred by that memory. Even if they were able to save him on this day.

"You just have to get close to him right?" he asked, stomping down the pain he was feeling.

Stormie looked at him with furrowed brows.

"I'll be the distraction," he answered before rushing towards Nixon.

'Seriously, you really need to take responsibility for everything,' she thought before flying up.

She can clearly see that Nixon was being surrounded by his water that anyone who get close would instantly be attacked.

But if there are more people attacking then Nixon would be placed in danger because he wouldn't care if he himself would get wounded by his own attack and would end up being drained of energy.

And them being drained of energy is even more dangerous for the mythological beast's power inside them would instead run havoc in their body.

In short they will die because their own energy that is containing the mythological beasts energy will be gone.

She clicked her tongue and Felix understanding this as well used his everything to rush and attack Nixon in order to ensure that most of his attention would be on him.

Stormie just need to see an opening even just a small one and she would be able to get close to him.

As the fight between Felix and Nixon escalated, Stormie finally found the opening she needed.

She rushed down and grabbed hold of Nixon from behind.

"LET GO OF ME!!!" he roared as his ability attacked Stormie from behind.

"Nixon," she whispered in his ears.

"Stormie!!"

Not just Felix but even Willow and Ridge called out seeing as the amount of attack would surely cause her real damage.

"Are you going to hurt me for being a woman?" she continued not minding the fact that her wind barrier was about to break.

"Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, disgusting," Nixon tried to shake her off.

But Stormie tightened her grip on his waist.

"Am I really disgusting?" she asked.

"You are. You are. You are. I am. You are. You are. I am. I am. I am. You are. I am. I am. I am. I am. I am. I am."

Stormie stopped herself from crying.

Just as she had thought, Nixon wasn't afraid of women or older women in particular.
