Kapitel 5: SPIRIT SPRING POND

The fox heard all this. in the end ying ying could only nod his head in grievance.

looking at the fox who was nodding his head like chicken, a trace of happiness flashed in Li Jie's chilling eyes.

" why don't you tell me. where were you in my previous life, there was no pond or this cottage, whats going on " asked Yi Jie suspiciously

This place only had vast area of fertile land that he had used for plantation during apocalypse. but now not only the space was much larger but it also has a beautiful spirit spring, a cottage and a weirdly speaking fox. but first he should collect all the information about this improved space.

"i was in a deep slumber for the past few hundered years, so, i guess i was sleeping during your previous life. i was able to come out of the slumber because of your rebirth and all the commotion it caused in the space" ying ying explained calmly " as for the pond it has spirit spring water that has many properties like its marrow washing property, it removes all the impurities from your body and also make you feel refreshed and this water can also be used for growing plants. lastly, for this cottage , it has all the things your ancestors left for you "

After digesting the whole information. Li Jie eyes were flushed with excitement, with all these things, he can spend his days comfortably even during apocalypse and as for Li family, he will take his revenge his own way.

" why don't you soak in the spirit spring and then we can look whats there for you in the cottage" ying ying said " but its going to be very painful "

Li Jie was also thinking the same thinking so he immediately took off his utter clothes and jumped in the pond but amazingly, the pond was as still as it was before.

Fully immersing himself into the spirit pond, he felt himself loosening and the water against his skin was hot and comfortable

But after few seconds, the warm water became ice cold it was as if cold needles were entering into his body, his bones everywhere. it was extremely painful. he knew his bones, his muscles were all breaking and forming again.

The voice of breaking and forming sounded so terrifying but still Li Jie endured it all without fainting because he knew that nothing is for free in this world, he has to pay the price for his future where he won't be the same helpless Li Jie as he was in his previous life.

The fox who was sitting shuddered looking at Li Jie who was enduring this much pain without making a single sound, he was too cruel to himself, this much tenacity was terrifying.
