Kapitel 191: Leaving with teary eyes
Sanemi looked at Tanjiro and Yami and said "Holy fuck, they did it..." he dropped his sword and shouted "THEY FUCKING DID IT!" the rest of the Demon Slayer corps, started cheering and hugging each other, crying in joy.
Suddenly, Hiro appeared with Zerotwo in front of Yami.
Eri ran over "Mom, Dad!" Hiro smiled and caught the girl, saying "So? How was it?" Eri said "Super Tough!" Hiro smiled and patted her head, Zerotwo said "Baby, go bring everyone here." Eri nodded and ran away.
Hiro picked Yami up off the ground and said "Look at that, he really did it." Zerotwo smiled "Did you think he wouldn't be able to?" Hiro shook his head and said "No, I believed in him the entire time." Zerotwo giggled and Hiro smiled, pressing his hand on Yami's chest and it glowed green.
Yami woke up and said "Am I dead?" Hiro gave him a slap and said "Yeah right. Are you drunk?" Yami blinked and said "Dad?" Hiro smiled and said "You did a great job, kid." Yami smiled and flipped to the ground, hugging his sword.
The demons slayers gathered and Hiro said "Very well done everyone!" Misturi said "Who are you?" Hiro waved and said "Just a young guy, don't worry about it. Now, here's the real question, does anybody want to die?"
The Pillars grabbed their swords and Hiro was confused, Zerotwo smacked him and said "Why would you phrase it like that?!" Hiro replied "What do you mean? Maybe some of them would rather be dead, so I just won't heal them. I can't phrase it anyway else..." the demon slayers looked at Hiro and Zerotwo arguing and sweat dropped.
Eri coughed and Zerotwo said "Look, you're embarrassing our kids, I hope your happy." Hiro blinked and pointed at himself, saying "ME?! What do you mean?!" Zerotwo pulled his ear and shouted "Are you deaf?! You literally asked them if they wanted to die! Look at these kids, do they look like they want to die to you!?"
Hiro said "Ow ow ow ow ow ow, I understand! My wife, please stop. I'll lose an ear!" she let go and clicked her tongue, adding "You're sleeping on the couch tonight." Hiro turned white and looked dead. Zenitsu patted his shoulder saying "I know your pain..." Hiro grabbed him and throttled him "WHAT DO YOU KNOW, YOU DAMN BRAT!"
As Hiro was throttling Zenitsu, Zerotwo smiled at the rest, saying "We can heal you, line up please." Tanjiro came first and smiled happily, Zerotwo patted his head and said "You're such a cutie!" as his injuries just disappeared, he was stunned and bowed saying "THANK YOU!"
Zerotwo smiled softly and said "No problem." then everyone started lining up, Zerotwo healed everyone and Hiro smashed Zenitsu around, healing him in the process. He threw Zenitsu to Nezuko and said "Anyone else?"
They were all chatting with Zerotwo happily and only Inosuke was looking at Hiro as he said "Fight me, geezer!" Hiro felt 989995328 veins appear on his forehead and he beat the shit out of Inosuke, hitting him with Healing Hands, not doing any real damage but hurting him.
Inosuke squealed like a pig as he got beaten, Eri ran over saying "Daddy no!" Hiro froze and looked at Eri in disbelief, she paused and frowned "What's that look for." Inosuke looked at Eri as well and Hiro took a deep breath before saying very slowly "Baby. What is your relationship with this boar here." as he waved Inosuke in the air
Eri blushed, not knowing what to say. Who can speak after being put on the spot like this? She said "Umm.. Well... You see..." Inosuke said "She's my mate." Hiro literally coughed up blood, Eri grabbed Inosuke and beat the shit out of him, shouting "DON'T SAY IT LIKE THAT! YOU IDIOT!"
Hiro was currently smoldering, burning intensely on the inside. Zerotwo looked at him and laughed.
A month later
Hiro was still fuming, he was currently sitting on a cart while Inosuke pushed it. The rest were walking next to the cart, talking. Inosuke growled "THIS IS NOTHING!" Hiro sneered "Oh yeah?" before making the gravity heavier on his body, therefore making his body heavier.
Inosuke grunted and continued pushing.
Zerotwo looked at Hiro's evil smile and rolled her eyes saying "How you have to do this?" Inosuke and Hiro shouted "YES!" she sighed and gave up. They walked all the way through the forest to a small house, Zenitsu said "This is your home, Tanjiro?"
Tanjiro nodded but he frowned, Inosuke said "What's wrong?" Tanjiro said "It smells like..." the door to the house opened and Kie walked out, humming to herself. She looked and saw Tanjiro, she dropped the basket in her hands and ran over, shouting "Tanjiro! Nezuko!"
Tanjiro and Nezuko were shaken, they looked at Kie running towards them and choked out "M-Mom?!" Kie hugged them and cried "Finally..." Tanjiro and Nezuko hugged their mother and Tanjuro came out with the rest of the revived family.
Hiro and Zerotwo watched the warm scene with soft smiles. Eri filled in the others and Yami looked at the scene with calm eyes, Kie looked at Zerotwo and Hiro before smiling "Please come have dinner." Hiro smiled and said "Thank you, Kie." She smiled and said "It's nothing, my pleasure."
The group went into the house and sat down, Kie made extra and served everyone. They started eating while Tanjiro and Nezuko listened to Tanjuro explain what happened, he told them that he was dead and then Hiro brought him back to life. He did the same for the rest and Hiro admitted that the burial was an illusion.
Tanjiro was confused and Hiro said "I can see the future, you were needed to kill Muzan and rid the world of demons. I'm truly sorry." Tanjiro waved quickly and said "NOnononononono! Please don't apologize! You've brought my family back from the dead! I can't accept your apology... Are you god?"
Hiro chuckled and said "Is that's what you'd like to think." Zerotwo giggled and Tanjiro was about to kneel, Hiro stopped him and said "It's magic, I'm not a god, kid. What does everyone think that I am..." he sighed to himself and the rest said "You brought people back from the dead!" Hiro scratched his head and chuckled.
They continued eating in a happy atmosphere and stayed there for a few days as per Tanjuro's request. Hiro stayed with the group at Tanjuro's home, beating Inosuke almost every day, when Tanjuro asked why, Tanjiro explained the whole situation, Kie asked Tanjiro is he had brought any girls home and Tanjiro blushed, saying "Well, there IS this one girl..." Kie dragged him off and Tanjuro looked at Zenitsu, who was prostrating in front of him, saying "PLEASE LET ME MARRY NEZUKO-CHAN!"
Tanjuro finally understood how Hiro felt and had an intense urge to beat Zenitsu senseless. He wasn't sick anymore and his body was in tip top condition, he might even live longer than normal, so he grabbed Zenitsu and gave him a beating.
A while later
Hiro and Zerotwo were sitting in front of Eri, Hiro had a big frown on his face and Zerotwo had a warm smile. Eri was nervous and Hiro said "You realize you won't see us for a while right?" Eri nodded and said "Yes, but-" Hiro added "And that you'll live much longer than anyone here." Eri was silent and Zerotwo patted Hiro's hand saying "Darling, please."
Hiro stayed silent and Zerotwo smiled "Baby, do you really like this boy?" Eri nodded and Zerotwo added "Would you marry him?" Eri blinked and blushed before nodding again. Hiro had thick veins creep up his neck and his fists were clenched and trembling.
Zerotwo patted his fist and smiled softly, asking "Eri, are you absolutely sure? Mom and Dad aren't going to be here anymore if you truly want to stay here. You can't come on adventures anymore." Eri stayed silent for a few moments before replying "I don't want to go to so many places. I love you both more than anything, Daddy saved me from those awful men who were using me. I want to stay here because I want to be like you. I want to have a family too..."
She shed tears and they dripped to her clenched fists as he continued "I know that we're artificially related..." she looked up and cried "I want to have a big family, a big happy family! Not only for myself, but for you two too!" she held her hands over her heart and added softly "I want to pass the love that Mom and Dad blessed me with. I... I really, really like him and I've decided to stay. I don't need to travel everywhere! I don't need all kinds of powers!"
She sobbed "I just wanted love..." Hiro grabbed her and hugged her in his arms, saying "Eri... It's okay." Eri cried and Zerotwo wiped her eyes over and over again, hugging Eri, taking her from Hiro and sobbing "My baby, Mommy will always love you! No matter what happens!"
Hiro let out a breath and said "Eri, go get Inosuke and the rest." Eri got up and went to go get them. Zerotwo said "What are you doing?" Hiro said "Obviously making them live forever." Zerotwo frowned and said "Maybe they don't want to live forever..."
Hiro replied "I don't know how fast time passes here, what if she just dies before we see her again?" Zerotwo was silent and Hiro added "If she can live forever, then she would want the rest to live forever. I will give them something when they don't want to anymore, don't worry." Zerotwo nodded and said "Alright..."
Hiro smiled and held her hand saying "It's okay to cry, Angel." she froze and squeezed his hand tightly, he smiled and patted her hand softly as the kids came inside. Hiro didn't mince words and said "I'm going to make you all live for a long time."
They all blanked and Tanjiro said "What?" Hiro smiled and said "Basically, I'm going to bless you to live for as long as you'd like. You'll reach the peak of your body when you stop growing, then you'll just stop aging altogether, you can still have kids and the rest, you just won't die."
They were all silent and Hiro added "If you're worried about the side effects, there aren't any. Also, I will be giving you something that will allow you to die." they relaxed and nodded their heads, Hiro pointed at each of them and a white light went into their bodies, he gave them all a box and said "Inside is the solution to your death, should you take it you will die exactly a year later painlessly. Technically you can live forever, if you choose to."
He looked at Tanjiro and reached into the void, pulling out Kanao saying "Explain." Tanjiro explained what was going on and proposed at the same time. Kanao was overwhelmed and said yes to both. Hiro did the same for her and gave her the box before sending her back.
Hiro smiled and Tanjiro asked his family if they wanted to be the same, Tanjuro and Kie thanked Hiro but refused, the other kids agreed though. So Hiro did the same for them.
A few days later
Hiro built a house just like his own but without all the crazy labs and training things, made it so that it was deployable like a capsule house before giving it to Eri and explaining how it worked. She took it and thanked him with tears in her eyes. Hiro patted her head and smiled, telling her that they would see each other again. Zerotwo told her that she expects a lot of grandkids and Eri laughed while crying.
Hiro, Zerotwo, and Yami waved goodbye to everyone before disappearing into a flash of light. Eri collapsed to her knees and cried, the rest teared up and Inosuke patted her shoulder saying "Don't worry, we'll meet again... I can feel it." Eri held his hand and nodded "En."
