Kapitel 60: Short Break
Wow, we're 60 chapters in. (I've already written chapter 60 and I'm sitting on it to publish on Jan. 30th)
Honestly I don't expect anybody to be reading this, because my writing isn't very strong and there's not a good plot happening. The summary is quite terrible as well. I could go on and on with self criticism.
However I will note that this webnovel has received 20 collections in total! So thank you to everyone who found this novel and decided to add this to your library. Thanks to all the people who've commented and other webnovel authors who decided to reach out on discord.
The reason I'm taking a short break is to actually because I plan on applying to sign a contract with Webnovel. There's also few IRL issues I have to deal with and the other side projects I've been working on.
If everything works out as planned, I might be able to get a Chinese translator to work on this.
I'm actually quite happy I've been able to consistently push out 2 chapters a day with writing. I never could have thought that the first few chapters I wrote would actually get this long.
Initially I wrote about 1 chapter every day or so, but I decided to push myself and I found that I'd spend 2-3 hours writing chapters. I wrote a sort of ending around chapter 20 expecting to use it. At the pace this webnovel is going though, I probably won't have to use it for a long time.
Anyways, I'll keep this message short, just like this break. I'll still be writing chapters and hopefully I'll have enough self-discipline to not publish the chapters I've written. I usually fluctuate between having 7-14 chapters in stockpile (which is about a week's worth at any given time).
So by the time you read this I'll have hopefully returned to keep writing.
