Kapitel 60: I Still Think This Is A Terrible Idea

Colton had been right to worry. When he went to go pick up his kids from his mother's house a few weeks later, he ended up stopping to chat with her and happened to ask about Jonas since he didn't see him anywhere.

"What's Jonas up to these days? He hasn't come by to steal baked goods from me for over a week."

Sarah smiled happily. "Didn't he tell you? He wanted a change of pace so he applied for a summer student exchange program. I took him to the airport this morning. I was so relieved he finally seemed interested in something! He's been a shell of himself since…you know."

Colton's big brother alarm was going off more than it had since the time four years ago when the twins led their school's senior prank and needed someone to sneak them out from behind the school's dumpsters so they wouldn't risk getting expelled. He knew Jonas's good mood had been suspicious!
