" Hello, Miss Becky? I am here regarding the loan." Nick called out again and this time he shouted even more loudly but no one answered just to lie before, his brows scrunched up and he walked inside the small cottage. "Where in the world is that woman? Did Charity make a mistake? There can be a possibility that the woman might have left the cottage to live somewhere else." 

He has heard of many people who ran away after taking loans from the bank and then the police along with the members of the bank would look around for the person. What if this was a similar case of borrowing and going on a run? 

The place didn't look like it was fit for living anyway, from the pile of dust and debris that was collecting inside the main hall, he was sure that no one lived here.
