If a monster pet was too weak, it would immediately spring to life once he added the [hunger] status effect.
If a monster pet required training, it would level up unlimitedly and learn new techniques after he added the [immediate comprehension] status effect.
If a monster pet wanted to do battle, its speed and attack would increase massively when he added the [berserk] status effect.
When he encountered high-level monster pet species, he could add the [in heat] status effect and its excellent genes would be passed down forever.

The premise of the story is somewhat decent, but the actual execution is terrible and makes no sense (There will be spoilers below from the first 20-25 trial read chapters). The people in this world are absurdly stupid. For example, at some point (~chapter 20) the MC goes to a fish racing competition where people gamble. He meets the director of the opposing hospital across the road from his at that competition. He doesn't recognize the director of the "massive 10-story, famous" hospital across the road which happens to be his "sworn enemy," but that director immediately recognizes the MC, the owner of some small dinky 2-story hospital which barely gets any customers. Go figure. And it doesn't even end there. The MC's cat touches a fish, and the referee of the contest comes over and says that the MC needs to buy it. He initially seems normal, but after getting a phone call, he says that the MC needs to buy the fish for 300k (yes that is a ridiculous price, everyone else around and even the MC realize that it is unusually high). The referee even says that he isn't allowed to leave and must buy the fish since his cat touching it counts as the cat selecting it. The MC, being the absolute braindead pushover he is, decides to buy the fish. He doesn't at all find it suspicious, even though he knows that "every pet hospital other than his own (which all also happen to be "unethical" is out for his blood for some reason. He isn't secretly biding his time to get revenge or scam the guy who tried to scam him or anything, he just buys it with no plans or anything. It is then revealed that the head of the opposing hospital bribed the referee to make the MC pay a ridiculous amount for the fish (Wow, Shocker). Some more dumb brainless face-slapping chapters later, the MC wins after his fish turns into a true dragon. The director guy then decides to try and scare off the MC from claiming his prize money with some thug, and when that fails he follows the MC around for a bit to try and kill the MC. And his reasoning for killing the MC is the 8 million yuan that the MC won in the race for getting first. (For reference, 8 million yuan is chump change to people with positions in that world). Not because he has a way to communicate with the one and only True Dragon in that entire city, which is literally a priceless pet. For 8 million yuan. Like if you are gonna have cardboard brainless copy-paste villains, at least try and make the blind greed somewhat reasonable author. There are a ton of similar events/logic to this but I am way too lazy to describe them all.

just an average story.when reading you can feel most of the people in this novel are brain dead. and author wanted to create alot of faceslap scene but it's not successful we feel nothing when reading it.
The setting makes no sense. The MC runs a small animal clinic, which the author claims is doing poorly. The reason being that a bunch of large and unethical animal hospitals have lost business to him. Instead of turning on their actual competitors, they all decide to send people to harass an obscure clinic. Also, it's hilarious how the MC decides to keep prescribing stuff despite instantly curing anything with the system, in order to earn money. In essence, the MC began running an unethical animal hospital himself.

Its fun, very entertaining and has a bit of slice of life genre. Its a good novel for passing out time relaxing and that though its kinda boring in some parts that i cant explain it lacks something that i cant express in words.
setting and world is fairly interesting, but the author never explains things well, and crams in exposition when needed. furthermore, all the side characters are annoying as can be. they will doubt, hate, or worship the MC and are empty characters otherwise.
I'm a fan of pretty much any pet taming/raising novel that is well written. Loving this one just as much as the others I've read. Keep on keeping on, thank you for giving me another story to read.
first of all, the writing quality is not bad but also not perfect either. second, character design not bad usually the mc is a pet shop owner at almost every novel that i read. third, for updating stability idk because i read it when the novel is a new as "trial read novel" and world background is standart, i say because it only begining of the novel story. Last of it, the story development is something that i don't like it, to fast pace development for a vet pet monster and to chaotic that i think slow and steady normal development and suddenly mc have to many pet monsters before 50 chapters this is a vet mc not a pet shop mc or an adventur/tamer mc this is just ridiculous for mc got 3 pet monster from the museum to fish gambling to pet monster mall one after another also to many detail that make the development make sense for example you need 2 or 5 status shard to make a complete status as system say but in some chapter the requirment had change and for grading pet monster power and rarity is to jumble no consistent because of this development, that i think this novel will stop at chapter 40 and never will continue
