Kapitel 233: Bloodfire Falls War Final Part: Climax of the Duel

Location the Chaos Wastes/The Bloodfire Falls Battlefield-Dark Legion vs. the Heralds of the Tempest
Forsaking defense both Lords were completely focusing in attacking the other, as this is the greatest battle either warrior has fought before...well in the Blood God case the greatest battle in such a weaken, state within a Avatar, cause the best battle he had between Gods was with eldest brother, Laharl.
As Kholek smashed his lightning coated warhammer upon Ixion, Khorne counter with daemonic greatsword and heavy khornate axe, as blood, metal, flames, and brutality emenated from the two clashing against each other.
A true clash of monsters, earning the direct gaze of the Gods, as Khorne made Ixion use the skill [Chaos Strike] engulfing the avatar's right fist in hellfire, smashing said into Kholek Suneater causing a great explosion of hellfire as strike pushed back the great Shaggoth.
Kholek dugged his claws into the khornate ground as he slowed down the force he was pushed back.
When he finally manage to stop himself, Kholek noticed the dent and burn from Ixion's blow, when he looked up he saw the khornate champion rushing towards him.
Kholek responded as quickly as he could, swinging his warhammer the Starcrusher in a right horizontal strike, the swing was fast enough to hit the avatar of the Warp Gods knocking Ixion/Khorne away this provided Kholek a moment to caught his breathe, before charging towards his opponent.
Ixion was smashing against the volcanic ground, bouncing/skipping on the ground a couple of times before the avatar finally landed.
Growling and growing in anger, as he forced the beaten avatar to stand again as he heard his brothers talk to him, starting with Nurgle, "Brother. Be more...conscience...we are...eternal...but, Ixion...is taking...a...lot of...damage." that's when Laharl contined the speech, "Nurgle right Khorne. Don't be reckless, aside from our Undivided state, yours is the second weakest. Plus we have no lightning resistance, fight smart not mindless."
Khorne felt his anger...slowly being deemed, as begrudgingly his brothers were right, he wasn't in his dark divine state, but a avatar that barely able to bring fort a meager miniscule of his complete power.
So he started his counterattack, by using his divinity over [Blood] rising the right arm of Ixion, that is holding Hellbane into the air.
As all the blood being spilled or has been spilled around the raging battlefield of Bloodfire Falls, was starting to vibrate and levitate from all sources of the battleground.
All that blood, started to bubble and pool floating in mid-air before it all flowed to him, all gathering in the rise arm of the Blood God's avatar.
Becoming a huge sphere of blood, all that managed to see this were completely amazed and shocked at the power the khornate Daemonhart possessed, it was as he was the most favored champion of OW-Khorne in the Old World.
Zxaie-xie the Speaker, was once again shocked at the abilities possessed by the Daemonharts, even the Everchosen, Archeon, has never been able to perform such a deed which served to further anger the Speaker, that favored and worship the Lord of the End Times.
The Blood and Sorceror Gods were watching in utter amazement at the power of Ixion Daemonhart, so OW-Khorne decided that Ixion Daemonhart has more than proven himself so regardless of the outcome he bless him with his mark that was now edged in brass on the was on left peck area of the chestplate.
This made the Blood God's avatar state stronger, and in turn Warp Khorne empowered the mark and it power greater such as his brothers did before on their respected marks and states.
This was the opportunity that Khorne need as he allowed the blood he summoned to flow into him and Ixion, further empowering the avatar and in turn Khorne as well.
Emenating levels of khornate power that few have been able to harness...Abrax the Bloody, Arbaal the Undefeated, Cormac Bloodaxe, and Egil Styrbjorn.
Sensing his opponent's great increase in power, the shaggoth responded in kind rising one of his arm in the air, making the storm and tempest rage above them all the lightning and thunder started to surge fort to Kholek's exact position as a giant lightningbolt came crashing down on the shaggoth, completely covering the said shaggoth and flashing the entirety of the Bloodfire Falls in a blueish white flash of intense light.
Once the lightning flash deemed revealing a super-charged Kholek Suneater bursting with blue electricity much more than ever Kholek has done before as he spoke to Ixion/Khorne, "You have been the best battle I've have or even ever will have fought in, Ixion Daemonhart. But the time to end, our duel is now." as Khorne agreed that it was time for them to end this fight, at their maximum potential...currently.
Both lords started slowly approaching one another to continue their battle, each tightening their respected weapons and once they were close enough to their respected opponent, they struke.
Again they clash in their empowered states, Khorne/Ixion being in a litteral bloodlust state, and Kholek as he was struke by several lightningbolts which have drastically strengthen him.
Like before they did in the beginning of their duel, they each forsaken defense for pure, brutal offense.
Striking and slashing at each other over and over without any restrain or mercy...
Throughout their fight Kholek delivered brutal swings and electrical surges at Ixion/Khorne, but in response the Blood God attacked with sword and axe swing along with burst of hellfire.
Kholek tried to hit his opponent again with the [Lord of the Storm] attack to kill him, only for Ixion to do a ludicrous counter to Kholek's lightning strike attack, by using [Chaos Strike] aiming directly at the warhammer.
When both hellfire and lightning meet a huge explosion which caught all their respected warriors attention, as a blinding flash of crimson and blueish white illuminate the entire battleground, followed by the shockwave released by the collision between the [Chaos Strike & Lord of the Storm]
By great fortune, and constant use of the [Chaos Strike] skill by all the Warp Gods, the skill has risen in enough level and strength to challenge Kholek's greatest attack...but the avatar still suffered backlash from Kholek's [Lord of the Storm]
Both of them were blasted away, while the Herald of the Tempest was grunting and struggling to stand using his warhammer to aid him, Ixion Daemonhart stood up but aside the Hellbane being completely intact the right gauntlet and arm-armor was covered in cracks and large amount of damage.
The Dark One yelled at his younger brother, "YOU RECKLESS JACKASS!!! KHORNE, YOU COULD HAVE COST US A ARM FROM THAT STUNT!!!!! I TOLD YOU..."Fight smarter not RECKLESSLY!!!""
The Plague God, completely agreed with their elder brother's statement if not for pure luck the Blood God, he would be fighting completely uphill battle at the moment.
This made Khorne had to completely agree with the opinions and comments of his brother, but regardless the Blood God was getting more excited to keep fighting against his now standing opponent, both at their limits...or better said the avatar, Ixion Daemonhart, was at it limits...but neither wanted submit yet, so once again they attacked each other.
All the while the battle raged around the two lords, both sides in high morale and bloodlust, as they fought against each other slaughtering one another either for the Chosen of the Gods, or the Herald of the Tempest.
Kholek Suneater swung his warhammer in a overhead strike hitting Ixion/Khorne in the back, but in return the Blood God used another [Chaos Strike] to the chest of the Shaggoth, hitting and burning the Herald of the Tempest.
That's when Khorne commanded Ixion to use the [Daemon Cleave] again, but Kholek reacted in time using all his super-charged strength he moved out the way of the hellfire wave that soar across the battleground, once again making the Bloodfire Falls volcanic landscape erupt from the burst of power from Ixion's attack.
Once again they stared down one another, waiting for the opportune moment to strike as they started circling one another.
Both having some strain shown in their movements, with Kholek rising his warhammer at the same level at his head.
While Khorne/Ixion, sharpened his avatar's weapons (Hellbane Hellfire & Bloodreaver) against the other weapon's edge, causing sparks of hellfire to burst from the grinding of the edges.
In this clash, Khorne was the starting aggressor rushing straight at Kholek, while Kholek responded with a tail-swipe which the shaggoth knew that Ixion/Khorne would easily evade, allowing him to swing his Starcrusher down at the khornate lord.
But to Kholek surprise despite all the damage he dealt to Ixion he was still able to have such agility to dodge his hammer-strike by side stepping to the right.
Before Suneater could try attacking again, Ixion under the Blood God's instructions aimed low this time swinging the avatar's greatsword and heavy axe at Kholek's legs, planning to limit his opponent's movements since aside wailing on Kholek with possibly hundreds of Chaos Strikes, he needed a clean and direct hit from a [Daemon Cleave] to defeat Kholek.
Kholek hissed in pain, as he tried to swipe or hit Ixion but the wounds on his legs were already affecting him.
As he saw Ixion step away from him and try the powerful attack on him again, again Ixion/Khorne rised his burning, daemonic greatsword high above his head bringing down the Hellbane in a straight downward swing, before the blade could strike the ground a humongous wave of hellfire surge forward at, Kholek, he tried to move out the way of the hellfire wave, fast approaching him.
But Kholek couldn't move, as he realized too late what his enemy has done to him with no other choice the Shaggoth had to willstand and survive the flames, as he used the lightning surging through him to strengthen his defense and he rised his Starcrusher, to his chest level to block to incoming attack.
In the end the final [Daemon Cleave] hit Kholek once again consuming the Herald of the Tempest in hellfire.
The shaggoth roared in pain as again he was engulfed in the unforgiving hellish flames of Ixion/Khorne's attack.
But unlike before the attack was much, more stronger than before, as he burned and crumble against the raging inferno despite being greatly Empowerment by the Tempest it was still no match against Ixion's latest attack...in reality if not for his latest lightning boost Kholek, he wouldn't survive this attack...
As the hellish flames from the [Deamon Cleave] Kholek was standing before Ixion/Khorne as he stood unmoving and smoking with the electrical surge that once surrounded his body and armor utterly deemed.
Then to all especially the followers of the Herald of the Tempest, dropped his precious weapon, the Starcrusher onto the ground as his four draconian legs gave out and he dropped as well...
Thus symbolizing the defeat of Kholek Suneater, Khorne can still feel life emenating from the shaggoth as he instructed his avatar to approach the down Suneater.
As he heard groaning coming from Kholek, the Blood God rised his avatar's greatsword and pointed it at the shaggoth neck and demanded an answer from him, "Kholek Suneater...do you submit to us? Or would you rather perish here, in disgrace before the Gods!?" Kholek let out a pain filled moan, as he looked at the Chaos Lord standing in front of him.
As Ixion waited for his reply, all Kholek could is a worthy champion of the Gods...a worthy warrior and master to serve and follow under.
So Kholek responded, "I...submit." signaling Ixion Daemonhart/Khorne's victory over Kholek and his followers.
This shocked the Speaker, Zxaie-xie as not only has Ixion won the battle, but gained the Blood God's favor and more importantly...passed the second of four trials of the Gods, he was furious as all the forces of Kholek submitted to Ixion Daemonhart with respect and admiration, something that should only belong to the Everchosen!!!!
Regardless, the next trial in the opinion of the Speaker, is more impossible than the last ones, while it happens he can divert other champions of the Gods towards the Daemonharts to kill them...any from Wulfrik, Bödvarr Ribspreader, Gutrot Spume,Arbaal the Undefeated, Vilitch, Aekold Helbrass, Galrauch, Sigvald, or even Lord Azazel one should be able to kill the pretender...
