Kapitel 26: Battling Dawn! (26)
"Let's battle." I tell Dawn as we get down from my bike.
"I don't see a problem with that, let's go Piplup!" She responds as her Piplup nods his head while following his trainer.
"Pika pika!" The mouse Pokemon shouts in excitement as he follows Dawn. Putting my bike into my spatial ring, Chimchar proceeds to follow Piplup as it sees Piplup as a rival.
Dawn and I are currently almost at Jubilife City, we stopped towards the side of the road to rest but I ended up challenging her to a fight. It should be traditional to battle each other with our starters no?
Making my way down the small little curve down the side of the road, I position myself a decent distance in front of Dawn.
We were in a forest so there a decent amount of trees everywhere.
"Chimchar, come over here!" I call out. Chimchar hearing me, runs over to my side in joy. This will be his "first" battle so he is pretty excited. "Just follow my instructions and we will win okay." I tell him.
"Chimchar!" He responded while puffing his chest out. Before we started to battle though, I pulled out my Pokedex to check out his moves and ability.

"Chimchar the chimp Pokemon. This Pokemon knows the moves [Leer], [Scratch], [Ember], [Taunt], [Power-Up Punch], [Fury Swipes], [Fake out], [Fire Punch] and [Thunder Punch]."
"Chimchar's abilities include [Blaze] and [Iron Fist]. The [Blaze] ability increases his flame attribute when under a lot of pressure. [Iron Fist] makes it so Chimchar can focus more power onto its fists with lower effort with a lot more effecientcy.

Seeing his abilities I start to get a giddy look. He's basically a cheat code, one [Fire Punch] with Chimchar is equivalent to a max power [Flamethrower] from Chimchar. So every hit is like slamming one [Flamethrower] at a Pokemon, imagine if he hits them more than once!
Now all prepared as I knew his moves now, I checked up with Dawn.
"You ready?" I ask.
"Yeah let's start!" She responds immediately. Hearing this I tell her to start first as I don't mind. Dawn seeing that she was going to make the first move smiled.
"Piplup, [Bubble Beam]!" She shouts. Piplup hearing Dawn uses [Bubble Beam] at Chimchar.
"Chimchar, [Ember]!" I say right after. Chimchar using [Ember] counters Piplup's [Bubble Beam].
*Boom*
"Chimchar use another [Ember] and prepare a [Thunder Punch]." I command. Chimchar hearing me blindly uses [Ember] at the smoke at Piplup's last seen location while charging up some electricity on its fists.
*Crackle*
"Piplup!" The Pokemon shouts seemingly being hit. With the dust starting to dissipate, I could spot a Piplup with a few burns on its left arm.
"Piplup, [Water Gun]." Dawn shouts. Piplup shortly after this uses [Water Gun] at Chimchar.
"Use the trees as cover." I tell Chimchar as he gets behind a tree. Seeing the attack hitting the tree I smirk. "Climb the tree and head towards Piplup." I say right after.
Dawn hearing my command, takes a little pause before widening her eyes in realisation.
"Piplup, use [Grow] and then [Whirlpool]" she tells Piplup. Her Pokemon soon after uses [Growl] which makes Chimchar flinch for a second.
"Dodge the [Whirlpool] and then attack." I shout out as Chimchar uses his agility to jump between the trees.
"Piplup!" The Pokemon shouts as it releases its [Whirlpool] at Chimchar's direction. Chimchar dodging the attack though after jumping between trees, uses its momentum to jump onto Piplup.
"Piplup, [Peck]!" Dawn quickly shouts after seeing the missed attack. Piplup still recovering from using its last attack, sloppily sends some flying type energy to its beak and jumps at the falling Chimchar.
Piplup now in the air tries to attack Chimchar but misses as Chimchar moves his body to the side mid air and smacks Piplup with a [Thunder Punch].
"Oh no Piplup!" Dawn shouts. Piplup hitting the ground doesn't get to recover as Chimchar jumps next to him and gives him a one two.
…
"Wait so Pikachu'a trainer is behind us?" Dawn says pumped up. Professor Rowan hearing Dawn nods his head to confirm her words. Dawn and I were currently in Jubilife and we decided to call Professor Rowan again. We won't do this again but we had a trainer to find.
"Let's start back tracking." I tell Dawn. It shouldn't take us too long to get to Ash anyways. We will get intercepted by a few familiar folks but it isn't something I can't handle if I use Aegislash.
"Mhm." Dawn hums in agreement. Summoning my bicycle, we start heading back.
While we were on the way back, not even half way through route 202, we got intercepted by a huge metal robot with six arms.
"What is this." Dawn exclaims in disbelief seeing the ridiculously huge robot. Right next to her could be seen my lax face as I send out Chimchar from his Pokeball.
"Charr!" Chimchar growls out.
Looking up at the huge robot you could see three figures in the eyes of it. Pikachu getting a determined look, jumps out of my bicycles basket and starts to use [Volt Tackle].
The robot still not moving, stands still as Pikachu rams itself into the robot, but as I expected it did nothing.
"Pikachu!" Dawn shouts seeing the injured mouse Pokemon.
"Hahaha, that zap kinda tickled a little bit." Meowth laughed out loud as Jessie and James joined in as well.
"But that's as far as you're gonna get with this new toy of ours." Jessie says as she moves the left side of the robot.
"Get a load of our su-" Jessie says but I tune out the rest Team Rocket as I couldn't be bothered to listen to their shenanigans.

-Okay master!" He responds.
"Hold up, why do you want Pikachu so badly!" Dawn shouts out as our opposition replies with some more bullshit if I've ever heard of it.
"Chimchar use [Ember]!" I command.
*Crackle*
Chimchar hearing me uses [Ember] at the huge robot and ends up burning the robot up a little.
The three of them still doing each of their dialogues, finish after a little bit and send the robot's arms to grab Pikachu.
"Piplup quickly use [Bubble Beam]!" Dawn shouts with my Chimchar using [Ember] to attack with Piplup at the same time.
Our attacks hitting the hands dont do much as Pikachu gets grabbed.
"Chuu!" Pikachu shouts as he tries to use [Thunder Bolt] to escape. The attack clearly doing nothing as he gets dragged into the air.
Piplup without Dawn's instructions uses a [Bubble Beam] to try to help out but it just ends up doing nothing.
"Besides for the entertainment factor, you're just wasting water." James remarks at Piplup, taunting the penguin. Piplup now mad rushes at the robot.
"Use [Fire Punch] to cover for Piplup." I tell Chimchar. Both of the starters run up to the robot just to get smacked back and slump tot he floor.
"Piplup!" Dawn shouts picking up her Pokemon.
"Chimchar." I say a little worried at his tired condition. I didn't want to hurt the little guy on purpose. Never thought the robot was that durable, but I guess I underestimated the quality of metal this robot is made of.
"Hehehe a wimp with wings!" Meowth says in joy.
"I guess it's time for capture." Jessie chimes in as they try to grab Chimchar and Piplup.
