Discipline. This novel needs discipline. There were many sentences I really enjoyed, but they were like diamonds in a bio waste container. You cannot build a great novel based on a few banger lines. The consistency drops after the synopsis (which has one problematic part in itself) and lots of odd word choices are used. What bumps up the rating is the ending of the first chapter when it comes to plot and introducing a character. Less self-indulgence would work wonders in these hands.
When I started reading this , I did not had much expectations. But now I wants say Author , do not stop writing this . 👍👍👍😁😁😁
The dynamic between the protagonists is rather adorable. The male protagonist is a neat freak who earns for the female protagonist interest, so he goes out of his way to do all sorts of things that gets misunderstood as trying to intimidate her by the people around him. Of course, as true to the title, he is also a yandere and absolutely cannot stand another male touching her in any way. She's a huge tsundere, but she loves him, and she admits it to herself. The same as the male protagonist, she can't stand another female next to him even if they are related. I also think it's quite hilarious how they always get interrupted when they are going to confess to one another.
2.2 The first paragraph was good, and then the second paragraph immediately slapped me with broken english. The story uses very flowery language while it is obvious the author is writing above their ability. Amongst a deluge of complex sentences, we can find phrases that were forced to sound fancy but don't make any sense. "green grass," "the night moon" "stepped ahead" "darkened away" Additionally, the sentences are so long and flowery that the author got lost and ended them without knowing how they began. There was one sentence that consisted of a subject, 3 lines of descriptions with commas between them, and that was it. The sentence did not have a predicate, which technically doesn't even make it a sentence. There were also errors where the sentence starts with a "to verb" but then incorrectly combines it with a progressive verb, which is straight up just incorrect english. There are no spelling mistakes, but the grammar itself is incorrect. The descriptions were partially also a bit awkward.
I've read all the free available chapters (39) and so far, this is a very entertaining novel. The romance and comedy is so fun to read. Good job author
Just the right amount of comedy and romance. The writing quality is great, and the story is developing at a solid pace. I'm curious to see how Chestnut develops the romantic dynamic between the main duo further, I'm sure this author will make it interesting. A great book.
