Kapitel 174: No Stalling

"I'm not saying I told you so," Andrea said, as she stepped into her apartment. "All I said was that I'm glad you agreed to go to the hospital in the end."

"You might not be saying the actual words I told you so, but you're definitely thinking them!" Kyle said, following her in with two handfuls of groceries. After turning over the bloody shirt to the detectives and visiting the hospital, they'd gone shopping together, and the experience had been everything Andrea had expected.

It was still better than waiting in the car again…

"And how would you know what I'm thinking?" she asked, putting down the keys and helping to unload some of the bags that Kyle had insisted he didn't need help with. "You better not forget to take those antibiotics."
