Kapitel 13: When Are You Going To Kill Me?!

Abigail's wrist was held again, harshly at that. She could feel the man's fingers tightening around her delicate wrist, making her bones feel like they were about to be crushed under the man's tight grip. She hissed in pain as she struggled, saying, "L-Let go…."

Nicholas only glared at her and dragged her out forcibly. Since this woman wanted to become Mrs. Harrison so much, he would make her face the tragedies that would come with it!

His identity wasn't ordinary. Since he managed to grasp his position firmly, he had gained many enemies in the business world. That's why he always kept his mother outside the country, to keep her safe. Only his younger brother would be determined enough to stay in the city, despite having planned his future for him outside the country.

He shrugged. Since Chris wanted to lift a stone and hit his foot with it, Nicholas should just let the man do whatever he wanted.

At first, he merely married to get on the nerves of one of his top enemies, Chloe Dawson. But now that her daughter actually wanted to help him become his shield, why should he let this one in a million chance go? He would firmly throw this woman amid the crowd of enemies and let them vent their anger while he would stand behind and watch ants kill each other.

He didn't believe that Abigail would fail to protect herself. He had seen how she managed to destroy his entire garden last night. So he knew the woman was strong enough to face his angered enemies.

They soon reached the elevator as he dragged the woman inside.

Abigail, who had been struggling, finally realized she couldn't get out of the man's grip anytime soon. She glared at him hatefully and said, "If I knew you'd act like this, I'd never listen to my brother-in-law and bring you food!"

Nicholas stayed silent, not saying a single word. He treated her like air.

His attitude angered Abigail so much that she lifted her foot and stomped onto the man's shoes, even grinding on his toes.

Nicholas finally turned his head and looked at her. Having had enough of her antics, he pushed her against the cold wall of the elevator and grabbed her chin roughly, saying in a dangerous tone, "If you don't behave yourself, I'll feed you to my wolves."

"You don't have wolves." Despite being in such a situation, Abigail wasn't afraid. Strangely, she even felt a hint of excitement filling up her heart, making her feel giddy.

Ah, treat her more roughly~

She likes it!

If Nicholas could hear her thoughts, he would puke out blood in anger.

He only looked at her and said flatly, "Then I'll buy some, and even vultures to feed on your remains. You won't even have an intact body."

He thought his warning was enough. So he let go and fixed his tie. But to his surprise, he heard the woman scoffing.

"That's boring." Abigail flipped her hair back and said, "Feeding me to vultures is a boring way to die. Can't you plan something even more adventurous for me? Say, how about killing me on a roller coaster? Hmm? Why are you silent?"

Nicholas stared at her for a moment, not knowing what kind of medicine she had eaten to speak like that.

Dying?

He had thought this girl couldn't surprise him anymore, but she did. The more she surprised him like this, the more he found her intriguing.

What led her to take even death for granted? Was his warning not enough? Should he use violence on her to prove how serious he was?!

Abigail, who was also serious, didn't feel she said anything wrong. In any case, it was just dying. It wasn't like there was anyone in this world or the previous one who would mourn for her death. She was fed up with her life anyway, but it didn't mean she didn't want to live.

She did want to live, but if she was facing death, she wouldn't be afraid of it.

That's why, despite hearing the man's warnings, she didn't get angry, but strangely, her heart was filled with a sense of excitement tingling her senses.

Actually, she deeply wanted to know what death would feel like. Would it feel pain all over her body? Would her breath stop and remind her of her entire life?

Where would she go after dying?!

Unable to contain her curiosity, she leaned over excitedly and asked, "Psst, husband, when are you going to kill me?"

"..."

"Why aren't you speaking? You were the one who warned me, right? Just scratch that vulture and wolves idea and replace it with a dangerous roller coaster ride!" Abigail thought of something and said, "Oh, I have an even better idea! How about killing me-"

"Shut up!"

Nicholas felt his head splitting apart because of constant chatter. This woman, she didn't act like a woman at all! No, she didn't act like a normal human being!

He took a deep breath and suppressed the surge of anger that built up in his chest. Soon, to his relief, the elevator door opened as they appeared in the full view of everyone else.

Now, it should be noticed that when Abigail was taken upstairs, the crowd quickly divided into two factions. Half of them believed that the woman must have had some connections with a staff member who bribed the assistant to let her in while the other half simply thought that the boss was going to teach her a lesson.

No one among them believed her to be the true Mrs. Harrison.

So when Nicholas appeared with a familiar lady in her housecoat, they all gloated in her misfortune.

The lady standing at the counter sneered and said to the receptionist, "CEO Harrison actually came personally to kick her out. How lucky is this woman!"

"She deserves it." Even though the receptionist didn't understand why the boss had to come himself, she was happy nonetheless.

These kinds of women didn't deserve to enter her boss's eyes!

But to the receptionist's shock, her own boss opened his mouth and spoke coldly, "Everyone, I want you to meet my wife, Abigail Harrison."

The receptionist's eyes widened as she stared at her boss, utterly shocked. She didn't know what to say anymore as a hint of panic bubbled up in her heart.

Ah, what the heck did she do?! She actually messed up with the boss's wife?!

But before she could panic more, Nicholas opened his mouth again, "I apologize on her behalf. She's weak in her head."
