Kapitel 151: The Black Flames and the City's Condition

The flames burned for a while before they slowly extinguished themselves to reveal nothing but burnt ground; nothing was left, not even ash or dust. Elder Falcon kept thinking of the flames, and he was horrified by them; they were silent, and no heat could be felt, yet it burnt a man to cinder, nothing to be left of him. 

Elder Falcon just stared at the burnt area of the ground dumbfounded; there was nothing left of the assassins. He gazed around the room and, to his dismay, saw that the other assassins were also gone. The only thing that could be said to be a good thing was that during the chaos where the assassins burst into flames, Aerick, who wanted to escape after seeing his current predicament, was captured before he could go very far.
