As Shakky hurried to divert attention away from Rayleigh, Lin Yan teased, "It seems that old Ray has quite the relationship with you, the proprietress! Protecting him like this, is he your husband or something?" Shakky's heart skipped a beat at his words. Her graceful face blushed, and she stammered, "You... Don't talk nonsense... He and I... How could we have any kind of relationship..."
Her eyes darted around nervously, and her speech wasn't as fluent as before.
"Hahaha, alright then, since you said that, I want to hear who this other person is!" Lin Yan said to Shakky.
"Hmph!" Realizing what she was doing, Shakky looked at Lin Yan, who was laughing heartily in front of her. She rolled her eyes, feeling irritated to be teased by someone decades younger than her. Despite her annoyance, Shakky gathered her thoughts and said, "Black Arm Zephyr. I believe you've heard of this name, right?"
"Zephyr?" Lin Yan looked up sharply. Black Arm Zephyr, the former Admiral of the Marine Headquarters, was one of the highest-ranking figures in the World Government. He debuted alongside Garp and Sengoku, made a name for himself on the seas, and struck fear into the hearts of pirates. Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru were all his students. Zephyr laid a solid foundation for the Marines' dominance on the seas and was on par with Hero Garp and Fleet Admiral Sengoku.
Due to his strong Armament Haki, he was dubbed "Black Arm." In his lifetime, he hunted countless pirates but never killed a single enemy, earning the title "Do Not Kill" former Admiral. In the first half of his life, his wife and child were killed, leading to his intense hatred for pirates. In the latter half, he devoted himself to the Marines, only to be betrayed by them, leading him to resign. When it seemed like his life was over, he came back with Neo Marines, intending to overthrow the world.
"Looks like you're interested," Shakky noted Lin Yan's expression and exhaled a sigh of relief. "I'm interested. Where is he?" Lin Yan asked. Seeing Shakky's firm expression, he thought she was resolutely against revealing Rayleigh's whereabouts. Rather than staying fixated on Rayleigh, he decided to look elsewhere. Zephyr's status and abilities were not inferior to Rayleigh's and even surpassed him.
Immediately, Shakky provided Lin Yan with information about Zephyr's whereabouts.
"Hmm." Listening to Shakky, Lin Yan nodded repeatedly. Zephyr had just resigned, so now he was a free agent. That meant Lin Yan could invite him aboard. After all, Lin Yan's mission had three parts: defeat a top-tier powerhouse, invite a top-tier powerhouse, and increase the 17th Division to 100 members. The first two parts could be easily connected with Zephyr.
"Then it's decided. Proprietress, this information is good! Name your price!" Lin Yan nodded.
"Hehe, Captain, it's our first meeting, so consider this information a greeting gift. How about that?" Shakky waved her hand, not wanting Lin Yan to pay.
"Oh? Free of charge?" Lin Yan glanced at Shakky, surprised by her generosity. "Mr. Lin, stop staring at me. You should set off!" Shakky was eager for Lin Yan to leave, fearing that Rayleigh might return and encounter him.
"Alright, I'll owe you a favor!" Lin Yan chuckled and shook his head. No longer teasing Shakky, he left the tavern, heading to Zephyr's current hideout.

At the bar, Shakky watched Lin Yan leave. After a while, she sighed in relief, raised her hand, and wiped the sweat off her forehead, feeling dizzy and drained of energy.

At this thought, a smile reappeared on Shakky face. "I don't want much, just let me collect the debt from you!"

Lin Yan arrived at the designated location.
"Is this the place?" he wondered aloud, looking up at a distant grass hut.
Since resigning from the Navy, Zephyr had left Marineford and retired to the Sabaody Archipelago. During this time, he had been living in torment, filled with hatred and resentment. He never imagined that after dedicating his life to the Navy, they would treat him like this in the end.
With the exposure of Crocodile's deeds in the desert country incident, and Moriah's defeat by the Straw Hat boy on Thriller Bark, the Five Elders decided it was time to reshuffle the Shichibukai. The Shichibukai were meant to balance the Four Emperors. Regardless of their effectiveness, the Shichibukai were legal pirates on the Grand Line. Even if they committed heinous acts, the Navy couldn't easily touch them, leading many outsiders to ridicule them as government lapdogs and Navy outcasts.
Edward Weevil, also known as Whitebeard Jr., was a candidate for the next Shichibukai. When Zephyr learned of this, he was thunderstruck. Weevil had massacred Zephyr's entire ship of cadets and severed one of his arms. Recalling the desperate faces of those cadets, Zephyr's hatred for Weevil grew deeper. Learning that Weevil might become the next Shichibukai, Zephyr was furious. In his deep disappointment, he resigned from the Navy. Thus, the former "Black Arm" Zephyr, the former Navy Admiral, severed ties with Marineford.
