I am back with second review, this time with more honest review based on 300+ chapter i have read. Translation team pick up a gem for fanfic genre. Top 10 marvel fanfic i ever read from chinese novel. Moreover, the story progression is good, but the early 100 is a bit weak during the red devil plot. Many people will wander if mc is racism? The answer is no based on 300 ch of reading. The mc is more toward fair for all species. He also don't bias with women, he hit and kill women. Furthermore, i want to question if the author secretly a HK or Taiwan, why can't i see mc saying mountain Tai, young master, or the hating USA? Its actually feel like written by western amatuer writer. That how non bias he is toward west. Anyway, the plot is indeed unique and not based on Marvel movie, its more toward comic book. So my fellow reader, u better save it in library because u will not see another quality fanfic by chinese in this apps. Harem so far is two with 1 is *** friend.
There might be 25/30 actual reviewers and the reat are either bots or trolls spamming 5/5 ratings which boosts this story lol story has so many flaws and plot holes that its painful to read. Tried to read it again since i kept getting likes on my comment on the first chapter, about how Kryptonians can live longer than 100years under a yellow sun and wow this fic isnt good but only high up because of the boosted ratings. HATE how authors dont delete the duplicate reviews... not hating on you since this is a translation but the fics that authors write their own and dont delete the bot spam reviews.
this fanfic was really good in the beginning,but as the storyline went on it has become boring. the mc has become stale and now there are whole lot of chapters of just pure info dump.

Terrible writing. Not at all worth spending the time on. No idea why something of this low quality would get translated.
I don't understand all these people asking for more, every time I read this I fall asleep cos of how little development there is and how boring it is. Background is legit taken from elsewhere and it still fails to add to it. Sure multiple chapters a week, translated but god is it a slog. Honestly for a fan fic, don't waste your time, read something better.

It's a real drag to read. I'll admit I hold most stories to high standards which are probably unrealistic for fanfics so I tried to go easy on this one. But there are just certain phrases that really get on my nerves. "The diamond-like hard sparkling appearance still couldn't cover up her fragile heart." "The Ancient One paused and took a few glances at Superman, who was physically strong and exuded a masculine aura, and seriously said,' you might get sucked dry by her'." "The thirsty eyes, the desire, were almost overflowing". There's more but I'm not gonna go through 170+ chapters to look through all of them. These were from about 20 chapters. The editing/proofreading(assuming there is editing) is lackluster with clear issues slipping through every couple of paras. The plot kinda meander's along and since he essentially knows everything? So he just avoids any serious plot points as well as character development through the 170+ chapters I read. The characters are pretty monotonous and the dialogue is dreadful.

This has been repeated for a few times now and it's becoming annoying. 3. The Chinese nationalism thing is not that high but still not low. Every chance he gets, the author mentions, China numba Wan. It's a bit less annoying that Indians swarming YouTube comment section whenever there is anything Indian-related. 4. If you can ignore the political and nationalistic comments, this story is okay.

First of all the Translation is fine the review is of the story nothing else. The story itself start promising and than goes downhill so fast it's kinda shocking. The relative simple plotline of the MCU in the WW2 era is blown up to a level that is not even funny anymore and leaves so many big plot holes that it only gets worse. The more I read the messier the plot gets, the more elements of sub story's are mixed into the main MCU. It reads like the author got greedy and wanted to include as much as he can early on, the result is that some parts and arcs are drawn out others are forgotten or never mentioned again.

Well it’s a Chinese translation dealing with American politics, so if you don’t like Chinese propaganda you probably won’t like this. The pacing slows to a drag after WW2 and mc basically goes the Villian route in a strange plot twist out of nowhere that makes little to no sense all for the sake of getting more power over the world quickly, which is basically the antithesis of how his system works and how we expect Superman to be. Characters are meh at best, and very ooc most of the time, which is bearable so long as you go in understanding this is a cn and not expect more. With that being said this story just isn’t for me.

Review based off 124 chapters read of the translation, and complete 487 chapters of the full story via machine translation. I've read quite a few chinese Marvel fics and I have to say, this is definitely one of the better ones. Probably in my top 3. There is also no blatant racism or chinese propaganda. It's also a crossover fic for those who might be interested to know. I mean, besides just being "Superman in Marvel". The MC, Luke, will crossover into not only different Marvel universes but also Watchman and several DC universes. It might be handy to know this before you get too invested because if you only have knowledge of the MCU you might get a little confused down the line. The MC is... unbelievably a pretty good person. While he might be more gray area than a traditional comic hero, especially compared to the OG Superman, as far as Marvel fics go he's practically a shining beacon. Maybe my perspective is just warped from reading so many MC's being frankly a lot more sociopathic or just plain psychotic. Now the story itself has its up and downs. It does a lot of things a little differently from what I'm used to seeing. For example the MC starts at the same time as Captain America but instead of either of them going on ice they actually stay. So he actually pushed things forward a bit by introducing tech advances and ideas that would had otherwise come about in the next generation. Such as putting forward the ironman suit idea to Howard to see if he could make it, and even establishing SHIELD much earlier. The only real complaint I had with the story was that probably from chapter 200+ it begins to feel a bit... rushed I guess. That may not be the best way to describe it but there are a lot of small story elements that come up, plots that happen and seem to build up to something... only to then be basically never really touched upon again. like for example we hear that he's putting together this magic congress... but after putting all the pieces in place it all becomes background noise. We don't ever see it nor does it play any further role in the story. All the build up for only to get no real satisfying conclusion. There are a lot of moments like this where the MC gathers something with implied intentions... but we never see what it ultimately leads to. I feel like the author might had wrote himself into a corner and just ran out of ways to make the story interesting so he just rushed to tidy up an ending to call it a day. The reason I think that is because after a certain point in the story the MC has stacked so many Superman templates ontop of each other that he is basically a god who can punch through dimensions. Despite my complaints I did enjoy the story. (I have reposted this review several times. Between WebNovel inexplicably destroying the formatting and making this a giant wall of text instead of including my spacing, or just not showing my review to public eyes for some reason I'm frankly done trying to fight with it. Hopefully the stars still count for something.)
