I've read this novel in original language and I'm glad that webnovel has chosen this novel as one of their project. I simply love the male and female lead in this novel. Highly recommending this to other reader
Why should a lady be the lead character common for crying out loud why isn't their something like hentai ....attached to the story and lots of descriptive romance.....we need more of imagination... In a nutshell the story is great
Ok, this story sickens me! If you are a westerner, I highly recommend that you stay away from this book! Because when you reach around chapter 200+, the heroine will do something that any westerner, with normal sensibility, will find sickening! Let’s analyze the story and at the end, I will discuss what was it the killed the story for me. Story: it starts out pretty interesting. The heroine dies after been betrayed but is reborn into a new body with eyes that are in many ways “magic.” The author will add more powers to the eyes as the story progress. The powers are not explained at this point of the story (at around 200 chapters.) Hopefully, explanations will be inbound in future chapters. Anyways, the heroine uses her powers to escape a harsh life and make money for herself. Her goal: get revenge of course. The story details how the heroine gains money and build her financial empire so that she can use it to get revenge. The objective is clear and is her plan on how to get there! I like the author’s clear direction! Business story: it’s in the title, so we have to discuss it. From my opinion, the business aspect is incredibly weak. The heroine’s power allows her to identify gems from common rocks. This allows her to buy gems at cheap prices and sell at astronomical prices. Her profits are just ridiculously high! From then on, she makes friends who help her both in a legal and financial way! There is almost no one who can block her in the financial world. And some deals literally falls into her lap! There is no challenge for the heroine! No challenges mean no interest! Romance: yes, there is a romance component in this novel. But it is painfully slow! It takes close to 40-50 chapters before readers are introduced to the male lead (ML.) And even after he appears, it is only for briefs moments. The ML never appears to make any impact upon the heroine’s life. And the author barely takes time to flesh him out. Even at around chapter 200+, it is not clear cut to me what the ML’s career is, and more importantly, how worthy is he of the heroine’s love? Conflicts: there is business and romance, and that means lots of cat fights. Boy, does this story have a lot of them! Maybe a bit too much! It appears to me that the heroine has conflicts with half of the female populations that she meets! Early on, it can be justified because she is protecting her new family, but later... Character development: the ML is not very well developed. But the author does spend time to “develop” the heroine. Develop is a bit heavy, because the heroine does not change throughout the chapters, the author only reveal her personality more and more as time time passes by. She protects those who love her and punishes those who harm her. But contrary to many many novels on this site, the heroine does go out of her way to help her family! No lip service for this girl! And she also gets into fights to protect her family, and this was good at first! Because you can really root for the heroine! She was on the moral high ground. And then chapter 204 hit! I put spoiler on top, so this is the last warning! Please stop if you do not want spoilers! Still here? Ok, let’s do this! The controversial chapter: at chapter 204, the heroine allows two women to be raped! She was fully aware of it. She even followed the criminals to there place and was watching as they did their dastardly deeds! And to top it off, she even recorded the whole event! Let me also put things into perspective though, the two victims were evil women, one of them even hired goons to try to rape the heroine. Those goons never succeeded. Because of that I was cheering the heroine on. But when the heroine allowed those two to be raped, she lost all moral high ground in my mind! She became just as evil as her foe (one of the woman who got raped.) For a westerner like me, this was just too much! The heroine became like her foes: an evil person. There is no more reason to cheer her on!

It's good. However, too many have attempted such novel genre before and the similarities of the story to the others were too much. I felt like I've read this before. I think I read this from somewhere other than webnovel. Correct me if I'm wrong. Compared to the other stories with similar approach, this is average. The first couple chapters were kind of rushed. I know it's only starting, but it went from being betrayed- reincarnation - some parts that might or might not be necessaryx and then faceslapping events right off the bat. I am hoping that there will be no male lead right until she became a billionaire or powerful by herself. Truthfully, her environment is poisonous. If I were her, I would be moving to another school, moving her mom away from toxic surroundings, and so on. I will continue reading this to see if there're more excitement later on. Then I will give another review.
The writing is so awkward, the dialogue painful to read, and sometimes the translations are a little off. Now I don't know if this is from the translator or if it's what the author wrote but I really can't read this. Plot wise, it's a little slow. And I don't like the direction it was taking. Maybe I'm just impatient but I wanted her to grow up already. The progress and events happening were also strange and I felt so illogical. I just stopped trying and went with the flow. Sometimes that helps, but it just not interesting. I really wanted to read until she at least grew up a bit, but some things are also too cliche. Is there anything good??? The synopsis. Lol that's my answer. I didn't like any of the characters unfortunately.
I've read almost 200 chapters but it seems to have the same situation happening. Everything happens so coincidental that there's no conflict for the FL and ML. This FL is way too overpowered (with her cheat, she KNOWS everything and can DO anything) and it seems like everything is just handed to her. The characters around her are also pretty bland that you'd see passages where they'd be grouped together saying "me too". That's no problem for mob characters, but for her friends/side characters who are supposed to be present throughout the story to not have any individuality is pretty annoying, especially since they are all just "yes men" to the FL. Sure there are people who go against her but they are never that threatening. I think that's what this novel is missing. The faceslapping would feel much more rewarding if there was some stakes in it. Which is why I'll be dropping this novel. If it changes, please do tell at which chapter and I'll give it another chance. 🙂
Translation is on the verge of unreadable. I’m pretty sure this is MTL with a half as.sed first editing job. Character development is extremely cliche’ expect every revenge character trope. World design is horrible. The whole plot seems plagiarized, so have fun reading this. The only good thing about this is that since it’s MTL quality goods, the chapter dump is massive.

Like why have so much trust to a 18/19 YEAR OLD GIRL? Like are you fucking serious? Or the characters are just naive? The story is okay at the start but as you go on it feels like you're just wasting ss on nothing. Meh
Read up to 205 chapters now and my thoughts on this novel are pretty decent with a few things I didnt enjoy. Starting off pretty cliche evil family members, unworthy boyfriend, Mc's original host dies, MC takes over body and face slaps everybody. I do like the jade eyes and the relationships that are being built in the story. The one problem I have so far and many readers will probably see my comments in the future chapters but there is a scene where the MC gets "revenge" on an antagonist by video taping the said antagonist and passably innocent friend of the antagonist being raped and then blackmailed by said rape video by the rapists to be able to continuously rape them. This is something the author should never had made the MC do as it's completely out of character for what has been built up so far. Yeah the antagonist tried to have the MC raped but instead of the MC saving the antagonist and the friend to make them grateful she video tapes them and basically says job well done while these 2 sick fks rape them. "If you dont like it then, dont read it." I like the story just not the decision the MC made :/
I hope this drama doesnt have a misunderstandings and plots between enemies. Im tired of those kind of dramas. Its becoming a redundant because almost all novels pick that kind of theme. Heheheheh Anyways Its still the beginning and Im enjoying it.
About the last paragraph of description... To start with, sex shouldn’t hurt, and if it does, a good tip is to say “stop”, no matter what! The aftermath of sex also shouldn’t hurt – whether it’s two minutes, two hours or two days after regular intercourse. Even very vigorous intercourse where there’s lots of friction should not actually hurt. It can happen if there’s not enough natural (or artificial) lubrication or if there’s some muscle ******* in the vagina. Both of these can be signs of not being fully aroused (turned on) beforehand or during sex, or being a bit anxious about having sex. Considering all of this I don't know if I should even touch the novel 😇
In my opinion, the story was written badly. Why? It’s because the story was written so deliberately and detailed that it took the fun of using common sense to understand the story out. Also every time there was a bad person in the story, expect these types of line, “She is a very selfish person. She doesn’t care about anyone. She only blames anyone but herself.” This turns me off so much, which is one of the reasons I decided to drop the book. Lines like, “She said it calmly, like it wasn’t a big deal.” also somehow made me feel as if the FL was narcissistic. Also, I don’t know what your type is but the fantasy element in the story is getting too much for me. It doesn’t seem to go well with the story. I don’t have anything against mondern theme with fantasy. But the way this was written into the story didn’t justify the fantasy elements. All in all, I don’t feel that this is a very good book, but if you have nothing to read, might as well try this one.

Love this storie i just keep getting pulled into them i love the way the keep going n going n going and when ur done u just need one more to read how awsome is this comic stuff never thought id be into them but now its addicting

This book has so many plot holes and illogical that it sickens me...... The FL uses her power with no restrain.....she cuts 10 valuable jade on spot woth so many people present just to show off however she doesn’t consider her disguise has many problems such as fingerprints,height,hair etc so anyone puts effort in catching her alias can easily find her..... She steals a illigal gun and goes to another city via plane but ML does not suspect how she bypassed airport security.... She as a normal 18 hear girl who knows no fighting can defeat pro military but no one even considers her as a terrorist because it would be impossible to be trained to such an extent without coaching..... I hate how she treats ML because she often teases him such as ‘who knows if you will change’ etc and then she feels guilty for working him up because ML is flustered because he doesn’t know how to prove himself but she never stops saying such things and makes him insecure..... There is someone chasing her in front of ML but she doesn’t keep too mich distance....She made it clear that she loves ML but he doesn’t give up but she still treats him as a friend to keep connections... When MC is jealous she is Iile ‘don’t you trust me?’ i mean how can ML feel secure when you keep contacting a love rival, eating with love rival and also saying those things...... She says that she will kill ML if he betrays her (don’t you trust him) even when ML does everything he can to show that he loves her(taking care to government issues, getting her lisensed gun,ready to give all his wealth to her,never having any contact with any women of any age except her,ready to introduce her to his family, also bearing the fact that her friend is his love rival).... But she cannot even make him feel secure and he doesn’t even say anything about breakup, betraying etc.... She doesn’t allow him to meet her family, doesn’t tell about her enemies,doesn’t even reveal non-magical secrets...... Here we have ML who is ready to give his life for her and a FL who doesn’t even give basic trust to him.......

That there is this culture of, now that its happened I'll take responsibility, I.e marry the victim confuses me. I have also never understood arranged marriage where one or both of the involved are against it. Parents obviously know what happens in a marriage. So they are essentially gifting their daughter to this man to be raped for the rest of her life, and expecting her to be grateful and thankful to them?

I intially thought this story would be like the comic reborn: house of revenge. Its some what similar but different at same time. It has elements of ressercution, soul swap and superpower stuff in it. Its essentially a revenge story. Whatever I have read till now, I find it super interesting. I hope it continues to stay the same way.
