Kapitel 68: Acquaintances

Zephyr ignored the glare he was receiving. Slowly, turning around, he looked up at the sky.

Corvinus, who flew up, was swiftly moving his staff around, weaving some kind of magical field around him. Then, like a cannon, he launched a high-powered jet of fire at the godspawn.

Below, on the ground, Zolt and the rest of the mages watched everything closely.

"Thump"

With a thunderous roar, an explosive flame pillar flew horizontally and collided.

The godspawn, for the first time, released a shrill cry and reeled back. The instant the flame pillar collided with its body, it created a water shield to block it.

Therefore, the damage it suffered was minimal.

Behind the flame pillar, Corvinus smiled.

Zephyr nodded understandingly. The old man was poking around and testing out the limits of the godspawn. The flame pillar was far from the strongest spell he could use.
