I love this story line so far, has to be my favorite couple so far. I live how the female lead cherishes her family and doesn’t immediately go for revenge. It’s nice that this story isn’t as predictable when the whole plot is about revenge.
It locks too early to really get a sense and an attachment to the story. And she doesn’t really take full advantage of her space either, even when she should let alone could. And that’s just in the free chapters. Reading a little past that, she has a brain dead idiot for a brother who’s communication style is punching people in the face and threatening his so-called beloved sister. It made it hard to continue reading.
I have read so far 620 chapters and while I like the characters and the story, I really feel it's dragging now. I don't understand why Xiaohui hasn't been caught or received justice yet. Also frustrating is the dropped plots or characters in some scenes, like the adopted kids who come and go, the best friends who disappeared, and the grandmother who survived kidnapping and then wasn't seen since, , her biological father and that whole story, and Mu Feng and his sister (no evidence of her being saved) and all the farm plots not used of grains, etc not sold I really loved that the FL and ML got married relatively quickly and that didn't drag out but it seems sometimes the author forgets she gave the FL a space which is most definitely not utilised although the peaches are.
