Zusammenfassung
Julian Weber is an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a graduate of Westpoint Military Academy with a degree in civil engineering. As U.S. involvement in Afghanistan comes to an end, Lt. Julian Weber finds himself involved in a terrorist attack by the Taliban, which claims his life. However, he quickly finds out that death is not always final as he is reincarnated into the body of a Baron's son and heir in an alternate Earth set in Late-Medieval Europe. In an era of political turmoil and civil strife, the Baron's young son is named Regent of the Barony of Kufstein and forced to contend with feudal powers. Will he be able to institute reforms leading his Barony into the age of industry? Or will he succumb to the pressure of his feudal overlords and a corrupt church that seek dominion overall?

It's a hidden gem! I really don't understand how this story doesn't get more exposure but i believe that if the author continues, this story will gain a lot more attention.
The mc background is decent, very knowledgeable army engineer with photographic memory reincarnating in the medieval era germany. This covers a lot of things like the inventions the mc will introduce to this parallel eart. Then plot armors all over the place. Deaf and blind castle servants, non existent bodyguards and castle guards, very trusty peasants, superspeed inventing and creation of steel products, etc. It was hilarious reading his surprise when he was informed that his concubine was pregnant, what do you expect when you do it every night. Reading about mc so smart and brilliant almost every chapter then he does the stupidiest of things. Needs a lot of improvement in plot building and character development. It would have been nice reading more detail about how he teaches recipes, invention building, army buildup and territory development.
After 5 chapters I have to say that the MC is too stupid and naive, first giving plans of technologies that should not exist at that time, although the author tries to justify that in China they were already invented, this taking into account that they have just reincarnated or He transmigrated, he justified himself with the merchants, complete nonsense, since at no time did he leave the house to be able to give that excuse, also he did not even attempt to integrate the memories of the previous one before all that, so he did not even know how he behaved and lived the former, if it were a little realistic, would be accused of witchcraft or being possessed by a demon.

decent read, bit too much of a wish fulfilment, MC having photographic memory and interest in war and techcnology is a big enough advantage, yet every ally he met is competent while every enemies feel incompetent just make this bit too smooth sailing, would be nicer if character arent too one-dimensional... overall nice read for a kingdom building story but far too fast and easy for my taste
Concept is great, but hate characters. MC is "smart" but almost every action he takes is stupid. "Sigma mentality i dont need women and i focus on work " quickly turn to" i drink only bear, i dont get enough sleep and i f every chapter while having loli as his future wife". Things are also done impossibly quickly.

I waited for such a long time, to have a good kdb novel, without a system but only the intelligence of the MC. I dare the author to stop writing, and my arm will extend to wherever the author is and strangle him, til he carries on.
One thing Is very clear about this novel. The author put a lot of work in it & did his research which is much appreciated. But 2 things I didn't like about this novel that caused me to ultimately drop it after 110 chapters. 1. the story is too linear & there are rarely any twists. this makes the novel boring. 2. the MC is a hypocrite & nothing special about him.
I'm a sucker for kingdom building and historical fiction. This got both. Now, I don't like some things but they are minor. Grammar is good, mistakes are non-existent. You may feel frustrated by the plot sometimes but you can easily ignore it. At least I did, but again, I'm brain dead after reading too many Machine Translations. Good work author. May the monke gods bless you. Here, have some holy monke bathwater.

Read a few chapters after the pay wall before I dropped it. Good idea, bad execution that slowly gets worse. The MC leans into his medieval mindset really fast. he turns into a a hole fast, but not even an enjoyable one. The author gives a couple blanket statements on how the Mc knows the inventions early on, a lot of them make no sense for the Mc to know. It was the same thing with the resources to make the inventions, just a blanket statement that the barony is rich in steel.
I suppose that America in this world will not be discovered for a long time because Constantinople is still in the hands of the Byzantines who even if not Catholic have relatively cordial relations with the European countries. So it would be a good idea to send exploration and colonization ships to the new world and the Atlantic islands to make America and maybe even Oceania and South Africa (very sparsely populated at that time) the chasse gardé of Germany and at least give Germany a considerable advantage before the other European countries understand anything.
I hoped for a more realistic kingdom building, but some of the things the MC does makes it hard to believe in the story. I also dislike the MC personality, but that's personal opinions.

I'm here to leave my honest opinion, I've read for now until chapter 56 and although the construction of this world is cool I'm getting disappointed with the constructions of the characters, a lot of contradiction in a matter of few chapters like, for example, the mother of the mc when she says that she wouldn't allow linde to be with her son and if she had a child she would do anything to separate them or adele who says she wouldn't forgive him if her fiance were with another woman and also chapters later acts totally different, it's these inconsistencies that are discouraging me. I will read some more and if this continues I will be abandoning it, I hope the author is mature enough to understand that this is a criticism of a book and not a personal attack.
