Schreiben Sie eine RezensionI like the story till now. It has great writing, no errors with names and other words like in most garbage out there. The wizard Path the mc is threading is unique and makes me wonder how far he will go and what kind of cool creatures he will create. I am really looking forward to it. And am hoping it will continue with its pace
quite decent overall. i am appalled by people giving it less than 3, when lots of novels here are trash not even deserving that much, and this is way above
it's a bit unique, not too much tho. also, you might find mc self contradictory at times. you gotta read between the lines and understand context in which thing is being said. for example: xyz is pure and not harmful (at chapter 5) xyz is harmful (chapter 20) this can happen but you gotta understand that things have changed a bit. I blame the translation
This story has some simular elements to other wizard stories but also has enough differences to stand out. Probably the most interesting thing is mentioned is the biological creatures he makes although nothing to crazy has been made yet. It is still a different path then most wizard stories and scratches that beast taming itch that is always super popular. The next best thing so far is the mc actually interacting with side characters and having friends beyond a basic level. A lot of wizard stories and novels in general have very loner MC’s so this is nice Lastly the mc himself is nice and not really annoying in any way. The cheat is also not to overdone and mc works hard to make use of it so it doesn’t feel given. Overal one of the better wizard novels and stories in general so far! Hope it keeps up.
A Promising Gem in the Making It's been a long time since a truly captivating wizard novel has hit the shelves, and this one delivers in all the right ways. The story is engaging from the start, and I especially enjoyed how the author gradually introduces exciting elements like the adventurer's guild later in the narrative—it adds great depth to the worldbuilding. One area I’d love to see more development in is the concept of bloodline magic. It feels a bit underexplored at the moment, and there's so much potential there. I also hope the author gives more focus to Parker’s character. Turning him into a true dragon—not just a weak version, but a powerful, apex predator type—would be incredible and fitting for the story’s tone. The main character’s interactions with friends and the romantic interest are another highlight. They feel genuine and add warmth to the plot. I really hope the author continues to build on these relationships and gives more attention to the side characters rather than letting them fade into the background (my meaning in saying add more interaction with other characters is mostly friendship interaction, I don’t mean intimate interactions as these day I’m tired of reading novels with multiple sex scenes). Doing so would further enrich the world and make it feel even more alive. Overall, this novel has immense potential. I’m excited to see where it goes from here!
I've read a lot of similar novels and this is one of the better ones. As of writing he just reached wizard level, and I'm still enjoying it. If there's any gripe I had it's that the MC is a bit of a pushover, but that has mostly gone away as he has gotten stronger.
Try it ....................................... it u like a mc who grinds and is a wiz not all focus on bio transfermation but they do pop up time to time
ch.234 What starts as an original and unique story quickly becomes a relatively generic story The biggest problem, by far, is romance. Not to mention the times when the MC's personality was changed to force romance, every chapter where romance officially begins are by far the worst in the novel. What could have been a somewhat generic but excellent novel has become a painful novel to read.
I did not expect much when I first started reading it (small-scale body alteration involving a lizard ?), but I soon found a truly great story, with excellent character progression, a very versatile and unique magical system, all colored-in by a System that encourages hard work and effort to attain true magical mastery. There is some fan service I could really do without, but the story is progressing in a great way. And for the author: you are amazing!! Don’t let bleakness conquer your creative spirit and you will soar to ever greater heights!
Very good so far. Interesting MC and side characters aren’t just one dimensional. Villains are interesting and the growth feels well earned without dragging.
As a person who has probably thousands upon thousands of hours reading web novels, I can say that this novel deserves much more attention then it gets. Yes it started quiet weakly, and as all other novels out there has it's own flaws. The sotory doesn't feels like it was written by AI, which is upon itself very good, does not contain harem and the magic system is pretty decent. The system is not annoying type, it mostly just tracks mc progress and helps with comprehension. MC is strong silent type, without useless conversation that exists just for a word count. He is unique but not overly that it feels like the whole word is orbiting only around him. The world building is pretty interesting with a lot of potential, so give this novel a try.
The novel is quite good The problem is why after the MC learnt thousands of spells,he still had to run from someone from the late stage of wizard apprentice rank he is 😏
Unfortunately like other authors do, there was a forced romance when there's obviously no romance tag in the intro.
so look, the world background is fine, everything is fine and possibly interesting, BUT! the characters are freaking boring!! there is no soul to them🤦♂️ this is obviously AI written for those who want to know. I just cant handle the boredom I feel when reading this. I made it like 20 chapters or so. I just cant handle the soulless, boring characters anymore🤦♂️ if the author made a character pick his nose and then die from embarrassment because someone saw him do it, that would be a major improvement🤦♂️.... if you want a good fleshed out world, and you can handle the aforementioned, then give this a shot, but I'm calling it quits here.
This book has been a pretty good ride so far. I’m currently up to date. I think it’s almost 600 chapters rn maybe chapter 570. But I’ve enjoyed it like every novel on here it has its faults but nothing major. The mc is kind of lack lustre when it comes to emotional desire but I feel as though the growth in that aspect will be good character development. No harem ( Thank God), luv interest but currently it’s far from anything major no consisten contact. Background seems like it will open up into a universe exploring type of vibe. Wish the mc put more into his biological abilities went fully in another path but still deal with biological matters. Lol author definitely forgets his pets at times but yeah overall decent story u wont crash out too much nice read to get by.
Spoiler enthüllenThis isn’t a wizard story — not even close. It’s about a guy pretending to be a wizard while doing everything except what a wizard should do. He literally fights like a barbarian with a soul, and apparently (I haven’t reached that part yet, but I’ve heard about it), he ends up saving a friend, causing a huge mess, becoming a dark wizard, and then building a religion. A wizard building a religion and creating angels? Honestly, that’s both stupid and kind of refreshing at the same time. But one of the biggest problems I have is his relationship with that high-ranking friend of his. She’s got serious connections — her family controls multiple wizard organizations — and she’s in love with him. Yet when his friend ends up in deep trouble, he doesn’t even think to ask her for help. I haven’t reached that point in the story, but you can already see how nonsensical that is. I didn’t read much further, though. I stopped the moment I could because this story just isn’t my thing. I get that a lot of people love perfect protagonists who can fight at close range, long range, and everything in between — but for me, that’s not good writing; that’s lazy perfection. I like characters with flaws. A real wizard shouldn’t be some melee powerhouse — they should be forced to think, adapt, and overcome their limitations. That’s what makes a wizard story fun. If your so-called “wizard” is sprinting at enemies with a sword, I’m sorry, but anyone who’s read a decent wizard novel knows that’s basically suicide. Space and time alone would make that fight unwinnable — just stretch the battlefield or throw up a simple spell, and your sword-swinging “wizard” becomes target practice. Even at the most basic level of magic, turning your body into an element would make all physical attacks useless — unless someone’s insane enough to eat you, which is a whole different issue. Of course, the author had to nerf magic just to make sword fights relevant — limiting how often spells can be cast like it’s a video game cooldown system. Imagine that: a wizard story running on RPG mechanics. But let’s be real — if you dropped a modern soldier into a medieval battlefield, even with limited ammo, he’d still mow down twenty knights before they got within reach. So yeah, I’ll say it again: this isn’t a wizard novel. If you came here expecting actual magic and arcane brilliance, what you’ll find instead is a warrior in a robe pretending to be a wizard. Sidenote: For anyone saying “he researches most of the time in his study!” — yes, but his research is in biology, not magic. Just because the materials become “magical” doesn’t mean he’s studying spellcraft. He’s basically a biologist and a warrior 90% of the time, and the remaining 10% is token magic — usually just defensive spells he uses when swinging a sword.
Nice novel that got ruined within a 100 chaps. The moment that Avery girl was introduced, novel got ruin. Beautiful fairy maiden living a pitiful life of a rich innocent girl in a cruel family. Cringe and yuck. Disgusting.
2.4 stars is generous. just cause there is some world building and the translation isnt trash. but everything else is mid. mc is a coward scared of people noticing then he gets mad when people treat him like he is weak and useless which is how he acts in front of everyone. until the author has him save the day. it started with so much potential, biological magic, decent powers. then author has mc shit in his room and explains more about what some place looks like than on anything with the mc besides him looking for a way to hide some more.
The only good thing about this novel is the world building and power system which were stolen from the other countless novels that are similar. At the start it seems like the MC will be unique by focusing on biological mutations and cultivating some strong pets with other smaller mutated creatures as support, but this eventually falls apart so the MC can learn all elements as well as every other wizard apprentice speciality. Not to mention at moments when the MC has to interact with others it’s astounding how unbearable and stupid he is. He hid his talent for years and missed opportunities, but now he’s risking his life to simp for a noble girl to get resources and connections he could of got on his own.
