succeeded?
In any case, thanks to his greasy hair, his attempts to push his hair back and comb it neatly only partially succored, instead making it look like he was combing his hair to hide a bald spot, which seemed a bit neater then the previous messy hair, but was also a little bit odd to look at. Sighing, Di Tou combed a little bit more to make it feel a bit better before giving up.

When you don't understand, ask, don't pretend to get it :D Di Tou still has much to learn. That's a negative on Humble Heart, I reckon
His right eye twitching, Di Tou nodded to show that he understood, although in his heart, he naturally did not understand. Posture, aura? Wasn't it all fancy ways for saying how one came off to others?

more room for error could mean "we have more leeway for mistake and mistakes are not that big of a deal". But I'm not sure it's the intended meaning. I assumed from context you wanted to say something like "you are unlikely to make a mistake under Gentle Touch"

Actually, no. Neither is good here. less room for error would be "can't make mistakes" and more room for error "easier to make mistakes"

That wasn't clear at all. So cultivation world only means a specific "planet" that Di Tou is on right now? Gotcha
Regardless, based on what he knew and what he had seen, Di Tou didn't believe that Earth was a small world, and even if it was a small world, it wasn't so small a world that it would end up being trouble. Even if it turned out that it really restricted his movements in this world and restrained his strength, he could tolerate it. In any case, he wasn't in this world to become the strongest, nor did he have some grand ambition. He just wanted to go home, and this was the best route he had before him. His strength getting restricted was something he didn't want to see, but that was because he had seen how this world operated and understood that without strength, he would be limited in everything he did.

I wonder if it's too conceited for Di Tou to think he is actually acting against the Heavens right now, instead of according to their Will. For Mandate didn't say anything about resonating with a specific World. Just in general. Heavens might not care which.
Di Tou shook his head and sighed. They weren't even worth thinking about for now. Although the Mandate was a treasure, the further he advanced, the more roadblocks he received. Wasn't the fact that he had to Resonate with the world by himself obvious enough? And as he was now thinking about turning a bit hostile with the Heavens by choosing another world, he didn't expect the Mandate to continue helping him all the way. This slowdown in advancement was normal and inevitable, and Di Tou, knowing he wasn't really some great talent, already felt it was gracious that he had this level of strength reserved.

Considering the size of observable Universe, small is definitely not the word

I wonder, why would he think it can't be done? Isn't the whole point of aura and cultivation is to add a bit of mystery to mundane in this case? Maybe he is slowly getting go the "Almighty Janitor" concept on his own, being a seemingly mundane janitorial worker with a strange aura around him with a pinch of mystery through the Void Qi. Ordinary to the normal people, strange and peculiar to those in the know. Like that moment in the shop when he dozed off and startled the Backbreaking Lady. I'm just throwing ideas at the wall here. Considering the title of the story and Di Tou being very underwhelming all the way through, maybe this is how he'll start growing into his own creature. Because at this point I half expected the title to refer to the old man, instead of Di Tou :D
Although the first was difficult, it could at least be comprehended and understood, the second…? It was a matter of physical limitations, it couldn't just be done, ah!
