what about the villagers and small towns that will get razed? It makes more senseto me to foght them with pike formation and archers, they dont have armor or shields so projectiles should destroy them. considering charging to an armored piked formation is suicide unless you and your horse are wearing heavy armor there is literally nothing they can do about it. If on top of that you force them to fight you in a city where horses are useless they are not even a real threat.
"So everyone just needs to hold out in the city, don't go out without permission, and you will definitely defeat the Dothraki."
