Mc’s figthing style : use weapons and darkness magic in close range (if the opponent is too much for him to handle long range) or throw spells long range (preferable) or end the opponents in a sneak attack (desired outcome). I think it was well established that he isn’t the type to fight head on and is more focused on the outcome than anything. He doesn't even fight honest battles unless forced to lol.

Well, he’s improving at a decent rate, it’s simply not shown. He was throwing hands (swords) with a High Ultimate Class opponent when he was not even 11, makes a tactical nuke spell after that battle, gains regeneration (through research), and whatnot. There will be a time skip after around chapter 15 and that’s when the power side picks up. The starting part of the fic is more focused on him enjoying his daily life than anything.

External powers =/= his own skills. It’d be one thing if he received a boost from the sword, but that’s not the case. He learns most weapons out there and excels in swords / spears.

Yeah. She’s strong af, is one of the best assassins and infiltrators out there, has a good information network, perfect candidate for Soul Corridor, and is at Azrail’s mercy. It’d be out of character for him to waste someone as resourceful as her.
