Capítulo 129: A Very Sheltered Life

After a few days with her, Eva didn't know what to make of her artist friend. It was one thing to not be interested in what was at a convention—a lot of people weren't into those things—but who in this world didn't know Disney characters?

It wasn't completely obvious at first. They went to the Magic Kingdom the day after the convention and the only characters she outwardly recognized as they passed were Mickey and his friends and a couple of the older princesses.

When Eva wanted to get a picture with Stitch, Hazel's expression went completely blank and she asked, "what's that?" Everyone in their generation had seen Lilo and Stitch. And if they hadn't seen it, they had still heard of it.

But not Hazel. She seemed slightly embarrassed and kept quiet after that every time Eva wanted a picture with a character. She kept a sharp eye out after that. It seemed like she didn't recognize characters from any movies post 1998 and even some from before then.
