POV (Nick)
We moved towards the lower levels and the experiments kept on getting more awkward and awkward. Well the first five floors were only about testing on normal zombies. But below that about ten levels were dedicated to lickers. So we were currently standing before something kind of mutated licker.
Now the reasons we thought that it might be a mutated specimen... well after saying specimen I feel myself in the shoes of some made scientist. Now back to the reasons... it was double the size of normal lickers and its lower body was made up of spider... well more specifically something like arachnid. So how do we still know that it ow a licker? Because the lack of eyes which were taken place by bulging brain matter and presence of huge tongue.
Alice: I don't even want to imagine what we will find in more deeper levels...
Nick: They might be the next evolved zombies we might find roaming on the surface.
Alice: So... you are thinking that they are making these evolved zombies and releasing them on the surface?
I didn't say anything... well it was a nice and cozy conspiracy but I myself don't have any proof until we find anything on the drives. Well the first time we found the base there was a high chance that we might find something but well we ended up naked inside a huge crater. The next time we found a base the leader has a fetish with zombie porn so we ended up deleting everything ourselves. And now that we are here there is no data on the computers.
Alice: Well now that I think of it... it is quite possible.
Rika: But there must be some motive to do this, right?
Nick: Yes... there must be. But I am not even sure what could they gain from all these... they might want to dominate the world?
Rika: Yes but for that they need to leave someone alive...
Alice: ...Rika I am really surprised that you aren't spewing anything perverted.
Now that I think Rika-chan didn't make any perverted comments. Did someone abduct Rika-chan when we weren't looking ans replaced her with a doppelganger?
Nick: Who are you and what did you do to Rika-chan?!
Rika: Why don't you out that amazing stick between your leg and put it inside me?? That way we can play many roles...
Rika said while licking her lips. Well it looks very seductive but I have to do that later. Well I guess that this is enough proof that this is Rika-chan.
Alice: Let's continue moving...
We reached the next level and found zombies on steroids... well they were using some kinds of methods to increase their muscle mass ans stuff. This looked like the initial stages of those giants.
Alice: Now we know how those giants came to be...
Nick: Right...
We kept moving downwards until we found a room with another kind of giant zombies. Their heads were covered with clothes and pinned with nails. Their bodies were stored in cryo-tubes and huge axes were kept beside them. There were five giants like these and five axes beside them
Nick: That might didn't have time to release these ones or they might have thought that those five giants might be enough to take care of us.
Rika: Well they didn't end up quite well... they are resting in pieces.
I used my powers and crushed all the five cyro-tubes and we continued to journey down. We reached the floor below us and felt a little disturbed because humans were kept there well a part of it. Only the brain along with eyes ans the spinal chord... nothing else nothing more. If any humans would come here they would immediately feel sick. Alice already puked while Rika was holding much better if I have to say.
Nick: What the fuck they were even doing here?
This is really sick... fuck. They are already dead since they are in this condition. Fuck the souls... this is the reason I didn't feel anything living in this base but these brains were still able to see and think and have their own thoughts. What kind of sick fetish is this?
Nick: Rika-chan... can you take Alice back?
Alice: No... I want to accompany you...
Nick: No happening... I don't even need to know what kind of sick things they are keeping below this levels.
Rika: What are we going to do to these?
Nick: ...Smash these containers maybe... it might help them pass on.
I spoke looking towards those eyes... all of those eyes we're fixed on us. After hearing me I could clearly see relief in them. What kind d sick experiments they have been part of?? Well I don't need my powers related to emotions to know what they felt right now. I can clearly see in their eyes. I have that much experience if I have to say.
Rika heard what I said and helped Alice. Rika and Alice walked out of the room and I raised my hands and crushed all those containers in which the brains were being kept.
I suddenly felt someone place a hand on my shoulder. I looked beside me and found my mom.
Ashley: You did a good thing...
Nick: Nobody should be treated like this... stripped from their bodies and kept here like this.
Ashley: Well yes... I agree... ripping off souls from a living should not be done... even we punish souls but not like this... they would never enter reincarnation cycle and neither they will achieve peace. They will just seize to exist...
Nick: Enough about that... how did you like your new daughter in-law?
Ashley: Well yes... she is nice, a badass, caring... well you will know much better about those stuff.
Nick: You saw her before I made her an immortal, right?
Ashley: Yes, I did and I myself have no idea how did they even manage to make a soul. This shouldn't be even possible...
Nick: So... how have my bothers ans sister?
Ashley: Well you know them... going on their daily lives.
Nick: Good... I guess then I will be going down...
Ashley: Well take care son... and bring all of your wives in next family get together... now see ya have fun...
She waved her hand and disappeared. Well it is like her if have to say. I went to floor below us but these floors were only filled with equipments. Only the bottom floor had anything new... it had its own power plant with a nuclear core inside. With nothing more to find I went to the control room where I have left Saya. Alice and Rika were already there.
Saya: So I heard what you found...
Nick: Yes... they don't even know what they are messing with. They are messing with balance...
Alice: Did you find anything more there?
Nick: No... after that floor every floor only had equipments and empty living quarters.
Rika: So can we leave this place? I don't want to stay here any more... it is giving me creeps.
Nick: Well I was also thinking the same except the creeps...
We decided to leave the base since there wasn't anything more to find. I felt several life signs gather near the entrance. These might be the people who burned down the city. They might not be so friendly of I have to say.
Nick: We have company above... don't need to be worried.
We reached the lift and turned it on... it slowly kept moving upwards. I could already feel the emotions now. They didn't feel quite happy... it might be because of two reasons. First, they didn't like us coming here and second that they are thinking that we work with Umbrella Corporation.
We soon reached the surface and found several guns pointing towards us.
???: Raise your hands and don't move!!!
Nick: So cliche...
