Capítulo 22: Chapter 22 - Kidnapped

Xia che was happily eating the refreshment, unaware of the misunderstanding he had created. "Son. No, Long try this. It tastes so good" he said, bringing the chopsticks behind the veil. The little snake peeked out of the scarf and took the food. "It's tasty, right? It's called a moon cake. They make them only once a year. You should try the other flavors too," he quietly mumbled, lifting the small piece of cake to his scarf.

The little snake opened its mouth wide and ate the cake fed to it. 'Aww, my son would be eating so cutely now, too bad I can't see it' he thought pulling at his veil. 'Maybe I should buy a hat veil. That would hide my entire form and I could also watch my son eating,' he thought happily, feeding his little son.

A young man approached him and said, "Sir, Do you want to order anything else?"

"Oh, what happened to the innkeeper? I thought he was taking all our orders,"

"Sorry sir, my father is a little sick, so I'm taking care of the inn," the man said with an apologetic grin.

"Oh, it's okay. We don't want to order anything," he said and waved him off. "Long, let's leave shall we," he said, looking at his hands.

The inn keeper's son heard this and was petrified. He never believed it when his father told him, but seeing it in real life made his legs quake. 'Gods, this man can really see ghosts ah,' he thought running over to the inn's counter.

"Dad it's real. That man was talking to the air when I saw him. And he was even wearing a woolen scarf just as you said," he cried hugging his father.

"You silly son, why didn't you listen to me when I said so," the inn keeper said patting his trembling son.

"Listen now, let's send him to the Shen's. Recently they have been searching for a yin constitute for their son,"

"Dad, that's brilliant, we can make money as well as stay safe," he said hugging him tighter.

"No, listen to my plan. Go give this to him," the innkeeper handed a small dish of moon cakes.

"But what for dad?" the young man asked, rubbing his head.

"You dumb son, just go and give it to him saying it's a complimentary dish," he said pushing his son out.

"Son is that tasty? Maybe we should have ordered more," Xia che contemplated while feeding his little snake.

"Sir, this.... this dish is the complementary of this inn," the young man stuttered and placed a dish of moon cake.

"Wow, son look, we have more to eat," he said cheerfully and started to feed the little snake. The snake gulped the entire cake in one bite.

"Ah looks like my son is hungry," Xia che said looking at the young man.

The inn keeper's son was sweating buckets looking at this man's action. 'Oh my god he is so scary. Why would anyone want a yin constitute?' he thought as he backed away slowly.

After just fifteen minutes, Xia che started to get dizzy. "Ah little son i think i ate a little too much," he said and collapsed on the table.

The other guests saw this and came to help. "Sirs, it's okay. I will take this guest to his room now," he said and lifted Xia che up.

"Ah, butt iwant to see the townnn.." Xia che mumbled. "Sorry sir, you are not in the physical condition to travel anywhere," the inn keeper said and lifted him up the floor.

"Is that guy drunk?" "Drunk in the morning itself, such a degenerate," "darn that guy was pretty though," the guests in the foyer mumbled as they ate their breakfast.

But no one knew that the silly crayfish was being kidnapped.
