Capítulo 397: How Could I Leave You?

When Sam saw Daniela again, it was at work and Lorena was with her so he didn't get the chance to ask. But the other girl did eye him appraisingly and he wanted to sink into the floor. She had totally gotten caught coming in this morning. 

He did his best not to drown in mortification and focus on studying until Tony and some of those regulars came in for their usual meeting in the corner. Then he had to quickly get back to work and make sure they had food so they didn't get kicked out. Thankfully, Tony didn't seem to notice or care what he was doing since he handled the pizza for his group in a timely manner. 

That was a close one. He needed to be more careful but when else was he going to get to see Daniela with how busy he was? 

If she stopped coming, he would only see her a few times a week. He needed help studying for the Spanish class he was taking this semester anyway and native speakers were the most effective way to do that.
