"Kruger? Why are you clinging to me so close?"

It was Kruger's turn to sleep with Bai Lu in her tent that night. The thylacine held his female in his arms tightly, head over head, arms over arms, and his legs entwined with hers. Hearing Bai Lu's words, Kruger didn't loosen his limbs, rather, he even secured his arms to cover his LuLu into his body with greater force.

"I feel hard to breathe..." Bai Lu struggled, she was confused about her mate's emotions. Lifting her head to look at Kruger's chin, Bai Lu asked, "why are you so happy and, feeling lost at the same time, Kruger? What's the matter?"
