Capítulo 16: Hunger and Destruction
<|Jasmine's POV|>
After another night spent at Luna-chan's, I was feeling rather great! I've quickly learned how to please a woman other than myself and yesterday I was finally able to make Luna-chan orgasm without needing to stimulate her pussy at all!Anyway, these nights of passion would sadly come to an end.
[The Destroyer has been spotted miles away from the city of Axel. Adventurers are advised to keep a look out for The Destroyer.]
Posted on the middle of the board was the notice of The Destroyer, something the adventurers began scrambling about to see. It didn't specify where it was going, or how close it actually was, but it definitely put the people on edge.
Knowing that our time here is nearing it's end, my group and I had decided to make the best of it. We took Gold-ranked quests, sometimes even bringing along Kazuma's party to teach them and help them out, which was both amusing and gratifying. Spending time with the main cast of KonoSuba was an eye-opener for my friends about how far anime logic can reach.
Darkness faces against ogres? She'll offer herself up on a silver platter, something even the most hardcore of masochists and degenerates wouldn't do....probably.
Teaching Megumin how effective other spells can be? She somehow managed to bring out the inner working of science and chemistry and make her explosions more explosive.
Making Aqua do some hard work? She would just whine like a petulant child on the spot, uncaring of the situation, even if in the middle of a fight.
Allow Kazuma to lead our parties? He actually did pretty well, until one of his party members did an oopsie.
All in all, Kazuma's party was an unbelievably annoying bunch, but they still have this wonderful bond we can't help but be in awe at. Normal people would definitely be put off by their rather large flaws, even they themselves are put off with it, but here they are, friends 'til the end.

A few days passed, and the dreaded day came for the people of Axel. The Town Bell rang, signifying the civilians to retreat. The Adventurers however? They stayed like in the anime. However, with our presence, they had more confidence, and under Penny's guidance, they had more hope.
"Okay! The plan is simple! Our mages here will overwhelm the Destroyer's magical barrier, once broken, our second group of mages will then attack the golems and turrets while the rest of us do the same while looking for its power source. Once found, we destroy the power source." Penny once again explained the plan simply for the sake of it rather than a reminder.
The first group of mages would overwhelm and hopefully destroy the magic barrier, allowing the second group to targer its other defenses. Once the magic barrier is down, we attack and search for the power source. Already knowing what it does once we defeat the Destroyer, I made a simple plan of dealing with it. To put it in our inventory and sell it.
The inventory is a very versatile thing, taking in just about anything. It wouldn't even be the first time we'd use such method. The first time I did it was when we defeated our first monster and it's core started to pulse. Turns out it was a bomb that would explode and create a portal for that evil diety. Thankfully, I acted fast and put it into my inventory. I sold it afterwards, though, earning a hefty sum of Coins.
As everyone went back to preparing what they needed, I had planned to say my goodbyes to Luna. It has been a great week of passionate nights, but it had, unfortunately, to end. There's a chance that we could stay here for three more days after completing our mission, but that was probably a one-time thing since it was a Mission in Kim's own world.
"Hey, Luna...." I trailed off, fidgeting a bit in place in both embarrassment and regret. Picking up on what I was currently feeling, Luna smiled gently as she tucked a strand of my hair behind my ears, showing off how red they were getting.
"After this...my party and I will likely have to...go back." As I explained this, Luna quietly pulled me into her lap, allowing her to embrace my stomach and pull me tightly against her body. In the comfort of Luna's hug, we sat in the Staff's Lounge for the time being, just enjoying each other's presence one last time. There was a point where I nearly cried on the spot, wanting to stay here with the woman who I grew to know and like for the past two weeks, but I held it in and let the silence envelope us.

*CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!*
Woken up from my nap by the sounds of the town bell, I knew it was time. I was on my toes the moment the bell started ringing, and turning to Luna, I gave the wonderful woman one last kiss goodbye, relishing on the sweetness of it all, before reluctantly breaking away at the sounds of roaring adventurers.
"I hope we'll see each other again, Jasmine."
"I....I hope so too." This was a promise I don't know if I'll ever be able to accomplish.
We tried it once, seeing if we can go back to the same world. We went to the same Side Mission worlds with the same Side Mission, but each time we did so, it was like we never existed to the people we interacted with. However, I still hope we get the chance to go back here. And if that time doesn't come, well, the Shop seems to have everything, so if I have the chance and the money, then I'll take it.
Turning around, I proceeded to join the rest.

"ATTACK!!!" Penny's voice resounded around the gates of Axel, proving the resolve of the Adventurers.
Aa commanded, the mages began chanting their aria, their strongest attacks, with the strongest of them all, Megumin and Wiz, standing atop the two towers to begin theirs'. Then, as different kinds of elemental attacks reach the magical barrier, two explosions comparable to a nuke erupted right above the Destroyer, breaking its barrier and bringing it down.
"CHARGE!!!" With Penny's command, everyone ran forward, weapons drawn, spirits raised, like a roaring thunder.
Of course, my friends and I led the charge. Our plan was to split up to look for the power source faster, and once one of us finds it and places it in their inventory, we can just use the chat to conclude our victory, or if a Mission Prompt appears. Either way, once we reached the base of the Destroyer, which was struggling to stand up due to the two science-improved explosions, my frienda and I immediately split up and sped to different directions.

As the five were transported back to their own respective worlds, the people of Axel roared in victory, unknowing of their friends' sudden disappearance. However, one person in the Guild, Luna, looked outside a window, hoping that Jasmine would once agaim come back, for her to know her more, and to properly be in a relationship. She did, though, resolve herself to move on when the time wouldn't come, as life would always keep on moving.
Speaking of Jasmine, as she was transported back into her room, in her YoRHa combat outfit, ragged, frustrated, and pissed, she completely ignored the Mission Rewards and dove into her bed, tears quickly escaping from their confines as her heart ached. She wished she wasn't the way she was, so emotional, so easily attached. If she wasn't like that, then she wouldn't have to feel like this. Luna was supposed to be just someone she fucks, a friend with benefits, and yet here she was, crying in regret and frustration. In the end, however, this will just be something that she will only cry over for only a week and soon forget, as she always does with things she had been atrached with....she hopes.

It has been a week since their last Main Mission, but Jasmine still had these bouts of depression. One moment she was like a normal, happy-go-lucky girl, then the next, she's depressed and lashing out at everything she can. Her friends obviously noticed this, with all of them knowing the source. This was a new thing for them, for the two androids especially.
Touka, despite still being a bit jealous of Luna for causing such an impact on her crush, was getting more and more worried. She somewhat didn't care anymore about her resentment about the blonde, even wishing that she was here to resolve all this, but Luna wasn't here, and to all their knowledge, she couldn't possibly be ever be with them. Still, it hurt Touka seeing her friend/crush be so hurt-depressed. Touka had seen Jasmine be in many states of depression, but being depressed because of heartache? Yeah, she didn't like that at all. So, eventually, she finally gained enough courage to start patching Jasmine back up.

"Come on! We've only got an hour to eat as much as we can!"
"Ugh. Unlike you, Touka, I don't have a backhole for a stomach."
Touka had a plan. The plan was to take Jasmine out on a "friend"-date in the world of Shokugeki no Soma! Enlisting the help of their friends, Touka had them do the Side Mission for them, which was to help keep the ingredients safe, while her and Jasmine get to enjoy the Moon Banquet Festival! Great food, a festival, some action, how could this °not° lighten up someone's mood?!
Giggling, Touka continued to pull Jasmine along to different stalls with mouth-watering food. This went on for the whole hour the Side Mission needed to be completed. Touka and Jasmine had their fun, had their embarrassing moments, caused some trouble, and in the end, Touka was proud and rejoicing at how she was able to put such a smile on Jasmine's face.
There, standing on a hill top as fireworks littered and painted the sky their wonderful colors, takoyakis in hand, Touka and Jasmine held hands with on another, enjoying as the beauty in front of them unfolded.
"Hey Touka?" The ghoul was pulled out of her reverie, too entranced with how the fireworks made Jasmine more beautiful.
"Yeah?" In her eyes, Jasmine was the most gorgeous woman on earth. And as they stand here, with fireworks in the background, Touka can't help but feel like this was some cheesy anime event, which was ironic considering she was an "anime character".
With a smile so gentle and sweet, Jasmine placed a hand on the shorter woman's cheek. "Let's have a date like this again soon, okay?"
The request was something Touka had not expected, and her heart, oh her poor heart, was beating so fast and hard that she was sure Jasmine could hear it. In the end, seeing Touka's inability to reply, Jasmine chuckled and placed a soft, affectionate kiss on Touka's lips, ignoring the mission countdown.
Then, before Touka realized it, she was back in her room, her lips tasting like takoyaki with a hint of berries.

While Touka and Jasmine went on with their "friend"-date, Penny, Kim, and 2B, despite wanting to help their friends out, was not interested with being put on guard duty while their two friends go on and mingle and eat food fit for gods! So, having been influenced by Jasmine's cunning mind, 2B had found a loophole on their mission goal and had put all the ingredients in a crate before storing it in her inventory. The goal was to not keep the ingredients fresh or fine, but to simply guard it, so she had done just that!
Now with that done, the three women went to eat to their hearts content while doing what a trio of mischievous friends would do, tail their friends who are in a "friend"-date and see how well it was going! Since the duo didn't expect any action to happen, they kept their guards down in favor of enjoying the festival to its fullest, causing their friends to watch them without being found out!
With 2B's growing interest of photography, she had been able to get multiple pictures of Touka and Jamine's most romantic moments, something they would gossip and share to each other later on. And as their mission quickly comes to an end, they all can't help but squeal like a bunch of schoolgirls while hiding in the bushes as Jasmine went to give Touka a peck on the lips!
