Capítulo 46: History of Elementals and Ranks
When the Universe was created it was split into 2 parts
First is the material reality as we know it and Second is the immaterial reality which consists of things humans can't see with their normal eyes
Let's be honest we can just see around 0.0035% of the electromagnetic spectrum and we have absolutely no idea what else is out there and we've only discovered around 10%(I think ?) of our oceans. Makes you wonder what else is out there.....
So the Universe is split into tw- Wait a fucking minute
.....I'm talking about the wrong Universe aren't I? ...F*ck!!
Well let's stick with to the Marvel Verse shall we?

<So where does the Spirit Dimension come from?>
Simple answer, the place where the Soul Stone resides
More Complex answer, A space consisting of all the purified Spirit energy in the Universe
You can say that it's kind of a Nexus point for all the spiritual energy of a Universe
It just supplies spirit energy to the Universe which later forms souls which houses the body of material beings and when they die that soul leaves the body, gets dragged to their respective hells or afterlife and after the cleaning process [deleting self-awareness/consciousness or just hitting reset or just letting them live as souls as citizens of some afterlife world....no clue mate, I ain't ever dead so no idea] it gets transformed back to pure soul energy/spirit energy continuing the cycle [or the souls continue producing spirit energy naturally thus filling the dimension back again]
Now we all know Soul Stone is different from others cause "soul"
You know immaterial thing can't be touched, that kinda stuff
So it only exists in that dimension and is kind of a gateway from material world to this one and that's how it can use that power
(P.s. also why it requires that "soul for a soul" stuff, spiritual stuff is just all about balance....it's pretty nuts when you dig a little bit deeper)
Soul stone comes from a being call Nemesis which was the source of everything in the early Cosmos before (or maybe after?) The First Firmament or something....idk man timelines are pretty confusing when it comes to that cause the origins of both The First Firmament and Nemesis are almost the same
Well, long story short
Nemesis got depressed cause it was all alone and split itself into six parts which were the Infinity Stones....The things depression can make us do huh....
So the soul stone exits in different space-time and continues acting like a universal anchor for spirit energy but is kind of a maniac that wants to devour souls every now and then. Things went south real quick last time, thankfully Avengers with plot armor saved the day
Well luckily this one is not a mass murdering soul stealing maniac.....
....Yet
The Spirit Dimension is split into different parts
Leo is currently in the Elemental Side of it where elementals exists...duh
Other parts consists of
Hell and Heaven of different mythos (Greeks,Egyptian, Norse, NotgonnanameitduetocontroversialreasonsbutweknowwhatI'mtalkingabout)
[Funny part is that no eastern hell or Heaven exists in any fictional (western side)Universe cause they are way too powerful. I mean just look at Krishna, man casually created an entire Multiverse in form of bubbles just to pull a counter prank on Brahmadev(Brahm-ma-dev) and don't get me started on things Wukong did....*sighs* Fun times]
Oh and gods do exists just in different region of that dimension and they were kinda hiding themselves from Leo so his original body didn't find them
Anyone would be scared if you're basically adopted by Lady Death
So gods were scared, especially Gaia who hid the entire Olympus the moment she saw him. She unknowingly saved the entire pantheon cause we all know if anyone is gonna mess things up, it will be Zeus. Man's literally the embodiment of 'where there is a hole there is a goal'
Sadly, he wasn't always like that. Corruption got to them and Gaia tried her best to save them, but failed.....
Got a little bit side tracked didn't I?
Now...where was I?.... Ah yes, the elementals
So they first took forms of element then started imitating animals and took on those forms and later when they came in contact with humans some odd million years ago(Earth time) they took those forms
That's also the reason why Sun Forest is considered as a sacred land cause first elementals were born there
Them being Geo[Earth], Salamander [Fire], Sylph [Air] and Aqua [Water]
They continued growing strong over time by naturally absorbing elements and the spirit energy to the point where the planet was divided into four regions
And we all know whenever it comes to spiritual stuff something gains awareness over time just take Zampaktō's for example
Hyōrinmaru is around 500 years old....probably
Whereas Rujin Jakka is over 1000+ years old, imagine the stuff a million year old spirit can do
And the Elemenatl Planet's spirit is around trillion years old....
Time dilation cause different space-time. The Spirit just decided to yeet them out of it's world before they destroyed it and later they became gods of their elements

<Where are the Elementals located ?>
The Spirit Dimension exists but just on the other side of the material plane. You know, 'sides of the same coin' that kinda stuff
It is seperated by a Veil or a barrier of sorts? It can't be touched my normal means much less tear through it
Time flow is a lot different compared to the material world. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow, depending on the layer
Spirit Dimension is divided into layers
Consider a circle surrounded by many circles, that's how it looks...depends on how each individual sees it
Circle No.1 the core houses the Soul Stone and the place where pure soul energy exists meaning no awareness or extra someone waiting to mess things exists in that region. Vormir is a centre that connects this and the material reality together, that's why it's call as the Center of Celestial existence
Funny how the one place that should be impenetrable is that easily accessible, moving on.....
After that is the place where elementals reside
Circle No.3 is the place where Gods that we know of exists and that layer is also the closest to reality and tini tiny step away from crossing over. As in the line between both realities is thin, literally one step away from crossing over or you can say it just rests in between the two realities
Where did you think Åsgård came from ? Or Olympus
A seperate pocket dimension existed long time ago which was supposed to be a piece of the Universe when Big Bang happened(616), but when that dimension got a little bit closer to the Spirit Dimension, it got devoured
For context purposes, when the Big Bang happened It caused chaos, like a stone dropping in still water and that caused seperate pocket dimensions to be formed(616). One of example pocket dimension is the Savage Land(616). It took few billion years before the Universe became stable and before anyone says it, No, the Celestials didn't do that, they just jumpstart the process and watched from the sidelines
Later those pantheons did seperate from this dimension after converting their spirit energy into cosmic energy but some parts stayed as immaterial things like Yggdrasil which exists in the Universe but unless someone has a strong soul or magic stuff, they can't see it or if they just tune in to right energy frequencies
Technically it does connect other realms like Jotunheim, Muspelheim, Alfheim(616) but here it exists as a pathway or a shortcut of sorts that connects them together
And to be honest Gods of humanity in marvel verse aka the Åsgårdians and Olympians are just aliens juiced up on cosmic power and planetary level beings....well atleast in the Leo's current Universe
Some version of Odin could delete someone's existence just by a thought, that's just pure cheating but luckily he's not in this one
So unless it's a Cosmic entity like Galactus or other higher level beings, Emperor level elementals are basically gods to other civilizations and to our pantheons too cause only God Kings are at that level and Emperors aren't even the strongest of their kind

<History of Elementals>
(Kinda unnecessary but gonna tell it anyways for absolutely no reason....well it is related to the whole invasion stuff )
First, only five elementals existed (not gonna say it again)
After that came dragons who of course died over time with few reaching the rank of Elemental Gods
Where do you think Thor's lightning came from ?
Remember Mjølnir (Mi-ol-nir) only acts like a gateway or as a conductor that connects him to the Lightning Dimension which is also the mythical and the most basic source of lightning in the Universe created by the Lightning God who was a lightning elemental
There is a difference between 'God of something' and being called god after something
Like Thor is God of Thunder but does this mean he's the source of all lightning? No, he can just use lightning available anywhere or just his own after he got stronger
[To put it in perspective :- In most Universes Thor is only equivalent to a Commander level elemental in terms of pure destruction. Commanders can easily level up a area of 100km, well anyone can with enough concentrated energy and a lot of control....I just gave a basic description of a Cero didn't I?....F]
But Lightning God is different, he became one after converting pure spirit energy into Lightning and creating a seperate dimension later on
Elementals evolution is.....pretty basic I guess ? Let's just stick to the history for now
Dragons were born Kings
They were strong from the start so some just lazed around while doing absolutely nothing and some just liked to cause chaos and later got smacked by the Spirit
But it was not the same for a small part which wanted to achieve more than that
So basically Dragons became the apex predators and reached the level of Peak Emperor
The Spirit of the world gave those who reached that level a choice
First was leaving the planet and exploring the Dimension either A) Becoming a God of that element later on in time
B) Dying by something random or just accidentally barging into other dimensions/pocket space which kinda explains few dragon myths that exist in some mythologies
C) Stop their progress and live on as Emperor level beings but that would spell war as no Emperor of same element could exist on one planet [The current situation]
The ones that left either died or became gods like Geo Earth God or Kirin the Lightning Spirit aka Lightning God [He's a Lightning Dragon]
And the ones that stayed eventually became one with their element and their minds collapsed hence they died cause you need strong spirit and mind to further live as it or the information and time wears them down.
I mean think about it. Without having a strong mind and spirit how long can one survive? Sure they can become the said element without physical forms but the question is for how long? Maybe thousand years? or ten thousand? But what happens after hundred thousand or million years later ?
Even if the body survives the mind can't. You just become an empty husk as the body eventually gets destroyed or in their case becomes a danger zone on the planet
Then after that came the humanoid elementals which lived in harmony for a while but then the invasion happened

<War with Zorgs>
It happened during the time when the Flame Emperor existed
The Zorgs invaded the Elemental World and went full on conqueror mode on them
Sadly for the Zorgs, their fusion batteries only lasted for few shots before running out and their energy absorbing tech didn't work because of the different energy in the dimension
So they used every last bit of power to launch a full scale energy beam that had the power to blow up any planet (Death Start on a ship)
Thankfully the Spirit stepped in and tanked most of the energy beam
But as a result the Spirit of the world was damaged and forced into a slumber
But before it vanished it gave the last command to all creatures
[Kill all outsiders]
The ones that didn't have that much self-awareness did just that
The King's didn't even have to move before the Zorgs were wiped out by low rank elementals and some Commander level ones that did most of the damage
Their initial attack had only been successful because the elementals were peaceful by nature.....well only hunting and stuff happened which was considered as a natural order of things so aside from that they were pretty much a peaceful bunch
Welp, invasion did change them for a while until the Kings stepped in to calm the rest
But things didn't stay the same
Something else started attacking them
It looked like some kind of humanoid mist thing that attacked their minds and took over their bodies
The stronger elementals such as Commanders, Kings and Emperors were safe but not for long
Apparently the thing could absorb it's own kind and grow in strength thus being able to control higher level elementals
Time went by with all three sides fighting a bitter war
All sides learned from one another and took each other's knowledge
The elementals learned about the world outside other than theirs from the enemy ships and technology. Of course it wasn't easy but they figured it out.
Before the Zorgs they didn't really have anyone to manage them. They just lived as they wanted with only the Spirit to guide them and keep them in check
So, the Emperor of that time took the responsibility and was crowned the first Emperor of the elementals
[Emperors before that time weren't really a thing and they were called differently but with time they changed that title. They followed the Zorgs ranking system thus the whole royal and noble house stuff with Emperors and Kings becoming a thing]
The Zorgs made some progress and managed to work their way through in understanding the spiritual energy and weaponizing it
The war had been going around for 500 years in real time and all sides were at their limits
Now things were staring heat up
Zorgs were attacking from the outside while the Snatchers (they named it) were destroying them from the inside
This is the part where the royals and the nobles got seperated for simple reasons
The royals wanted to defend and fight till the last breath while the nobles wanted to end this facade once and for all by wiping everyone out
Sadly their pleas were ignored as they lacked a Emperor in their group
It was at this time when Geno's mother, a peak King rank elemental gave all her power to him in order to fight both Zorgs and Snatchers
He simply went through the rift, crossed over to their planet and destroyed it
Plain and simple
Sadly for him that was just part of the Zorgs empire, not their home planet
But now they knew just how powerful Elementals were. Just one Emperor was enough to destroy an entire planet
The fear didn't stem from the fact that he destroy it. It was from the fact how easily and quickly he did it
When Geno crossed over he knew he had little time So he hit them with his strongest attack and messed with tectonic plates which collapsed and the planet deleted itself
Not wanting to test Elemental's limits they offered truce
But there was a slight problem, the Snatchers
Never had elementals seen such massive numbers of Snatchers
They were almost endless
The Snatchers were a pretty detestable bunch, always fighting from the shadows and the royals just refused to accept defeat and were stubborn with their old ways
Meanwhile the nobles were a open minded group. They accepted change if it benefits their group.
So after seeing no choice Geno accepted their terms and allowed them to live on the planet and vice-versa
Of course the royals refused which sparked another conflict between Geno and Magnus began
The partnership worked
Elementals formed contracts with the Zorgs and crossed over to their world while the Zorgs came to this side
Elementals would heal their world that was damaged by some unknown circumstances, in return Zorgs would teach them about the outside world while providing them with technological knowledge
It was an equivalent exchange....until Leo found some really interesting things about the whole exchange and he almost had a heart attack while laughing about it
The Zorgs had played the long game and they almost would've won if it wasn't for the unknown variable that suddenly poped up out nowhere called Leo

<How do they increase their rank?>
By consuming the following
Spirit Fruits:- Fruits which contain pure Spirit energy. There is only one tree at the northern point of the highest mountain in the West Region
Element Fruits:- Just normal fruits that contain element essence or concentrated element particals
Elemental Cores:- Each being until King rank has a element core in their bodies. It contains their consciousness and stored energy to either use it directly or to use the surrounding elements via the said energy, basically spirit energy in form of elements.
They can either eat the animals or weaker ones or just use the fruits
After the establishment of the empire, it is banned to eat other Elementals above a certain rank although they can challenge others in battles, winner takes all situation.

-Elementals Ranks Mordern and [Old]-
[Newborns] F-C rank :-
Formed either by their parents or just suddenly waking up when spirit energy gathers in a single point, awakening them
They just randomly gain awareness in a spirit or elemental energy concentrated region
They quite literally just wake up and become aware and take forms depending on their element
It can be a drop of water or just mist, spark, dust or pebble, a small whirlwind
These are considered as baby elementals. They grow up by either absorbing their elements or by eating either animal or plants containing the said elements
They can't really control their own powers so they are really unstable and often just collapse into a small forms of elemental energy like a water mist or small spark or just a cloud of dust . This is also called as their base form or Elemental Form just gets more destructive in later stages
Mist-> Sea, Spark-> Inferno, Dust-> Desert (Sand King), Whirlwind -> Tornado
This is continued until they can gain a solid form of a animal also their Secondary Form

[Adult] B-A rank :-
Elementals of this rank can control their bodies to the point where they can freely switch between first and second forms
The damage they cause to their surroundings in their primary form is minimum
At this rank they start to take humanoid forms or just stay in secondary forms....it's a optional thing

[Elite] S rank :-
A level higher then the previous one and also more dangerous
Their control has reached to the point where even in primary forms, they don't damage their surroundings
If a A rank fire elementals takes on the primary form, they burn their surroundings a little but not the S ranks, they perfectly control their element to not affect anything...unless they want to

Ranks F to S are all about controlling their elements to perfection
The next step is to control elements outside their bodies

Commander/ SS rank:-
On the verge of forming domains but not there yet
In old times this rank didn't actually exists, they were just called as Elites.
It was only after the invasion new rank system started

[Lord] King/ SSS Rank:-
In old times they were known as Domain Lords or Lords....for obvious reasons
Has 100% control over a certain element in their domain
Limited only by spirit energy and stuck in this stage until they can increase it till another level
They have to raise their awareness till a certain level until they can see and feel the spirit energy in it's pure form

[Rulers] Emperors/Ex Rank:-
They can change other elements to their own in their domain.
Any Emperor can change any element to their own at will and is only limited by their spirit energy
That's why it's impossible to beat an Emperor, unless one can overwhelm them with spirit energy

[Monarch] Elemental God :-
Beings who can turn spirit energy into elements are at this level
They can create their own dimension suited to their elements and continue growing stronger by increasing their soul strength or spirit power
Lightning God is capable of doing the same and has a seperate dimension
