It took Two hours before the surgery light finally went off but before then, Eric arrived at the hospital looking confused and shocked at the same time.

"I mean, this was the man she chose to spend the rest of her life with, why then was she put in this condition?" he asked, no one in particular.

Eric was both angry with his sister and pitied her at the same time. She brought all of this upon herself. She had a very stupid and stubborn character such that she doesn't listen to anyone once she had set her mind on something, and she wouldn't even want to consider other people's reasons.

"I guess she has to go through the harsh way before she learns," Rachel said from the side. Her voice was hoarse, but there were no longer tears in her eyes. She was done crying for her stubborn daughter who asked to go through misery before she could learn to listen to her family.
