"We're not going to do an emotional performance."
"What?" Anthony exclaimed. "But I was looking forward to making the audience cry already," he pouted.
"Why aren't we going to go the emotional route this time?" Bin asked. "I also wanted to perform another stage like that with you."
June sighed, not expecting such an uproar when he said he didn't want to perform an emotional this time around.
Honestly, the main reason was that he was tired of coming up with an emotional concept.
Making people cry was more taxing than he had thought.
However, as June thought about it, there were plenty of reasons why they couldn't perform an emotional song.
He thought back on the finales of the past seasons of Rising Stars.
June remembered the 4-hour episodes that made him feel sleepier than a Math class on a Monday morning.

SandKastle Hi! I’m dealing with this again (the forced plot and all just like in June’s family arc). I acknowledge how it could look forced as a reader, but these tropes are absolutely necessary for me to continue the story (as I aim to elicit all kinds of emotions i.e happiness, annoyance, anger, excitement, etc.) and also to add morals into the story! I can’t continue writing the story if the MC just magically figures out everything (then there wouldn’t be arcs and I’d be stuck with mere fun anecdotes/episodes). My writing leans toward “it gets worse before it gets better,” and I apologize if it causes disappointments (I’m a chronic cliffhanger writer too). Heads up! The situation right now will only get worse and will only start getting better in about 8 chapters. I apologize again, but I also can’t change the flow and outcome of the story. I’ll keep writing enjoyable (and annoying) chapters to people who are interested! I’m
also straying away from reading comments for a couple of days (I’ll be back, of course!) because I’ve been dreaming about these comments for a couple of nights now.
