Tommy skillfully received the ball and swiftly passed it back to Ben.
Ben advanced a few meters with the ball, only to find himself confronted by Nottingham's winger. Meanwhile, Jaime and the other midfielders started moving forward, anticipating their chance. Ben, assessing the situation, decided to pass the ball to Tommy, who deftly dribbled it forward for a short distance.
Just as Tommy was about to pass the ball to Jaime, an unexpected figure slid right in front of him, successfully intercepting the pass. It was Kabir who had swiftly thrown himself in the way to prevent the ball from reaching its intended target. As a result, the possession of the ball shifted in favor of Kabir's team.
Oliver swiftly seized the opportunity and passed the ball to Arvin, who was positioned near the center line. Arvin spotted an opening of about ten yards and skillfully dribbled the ball forward. Observing this, Will, Alex, and Kabir, the trio, started closing in on Arvin, moving closer to the penalty box.
Nottingham's right full-back, Oscar, momentarily left his position in an attempt to halt Arvin's progress. Oscar sprinted with all his might, hoping to snatch the ball away from Arvin. However, Arvin used a simple yet effective body feint, leaving Oscar in his wake.
In that split second, Oscar realized the grave mistake he had made by abandoning his position. Before he could catch up to Arvin, the right winger had executed a marvelous cross pass to Kabir, who was strategically positioned within the penalty arc.
With Oscar out of position, there were only three defenders guarding the penalty box. Instead of focusing on marking Will and Alex, the defenders fixated their attention on Kabir. They stood resolutely in front of him, determined to dispossess him of the ball.
From the sidelines, Man City's coach, Taylor, shook his head in disappointment, well aware of what was about to unfold. "Those fools are doing exactly what I explicitly instructed them not to do," he muttered with a hint of frustration.
Kabir couldn't help but smile as he made contact with the ball. In the next instant, the three defenders, positioned a few yards away from him, watched in sheer horror as the ball soared above their heads.
Will swiftly sprinted forward, expertly controlling the ball with his chest. However, the goalkeeper had already positioned himself right in front of Will, determined to thwart his progress. But Will, undeterred, skillfully dribbled the ball towards the left side of the penalty box. In a blink of an eye, he swiftly turned around and unleashed a powerful shot, utilizing every ounce of his strength.
The ball soared above the goalkeeper's outstretched right hand and collided with the crossbar before gracefully bouncing inside the net. The crowd erupted in jubilation as Man City celebrated the exhilarating goal.

As for Will, this goal marked his 19th of the season. Since Kabir joined the team, the number of goals scored by the Nottingham side had nearly tripled. Kabir had become a pivotal figure, even surpassing Brennan, who was currently sidelined due to injury.
With the game back in motion, the Man City players exhibited a renewed vigor. Oscar swiftly passed the ball to Tommy, who carried it towards the center line before delivering a precise pass to the striker, Ben. Positioned on the right side of the center-right, Ben successfully received the pass from Tommy.
Just as Ben was about to embark on a dribbling move, a mysterious figure dashed towards him from the right flank. Before Ben could react, the ball was snatched away by this agile presence. Ben abruptly halted his run, realizing that someone had expertly stolen the ball from him. To his astonishment, it was Kabir who had emerged as the victor in their encounter.
"Wtf! How on earth is he so fast?" Ben's eyes widened in disbelief. He had watched one of Kabir's matches previously, and to his knowledge, Kabir possessed a similar pace to his own. Ben couldn't comprehend how Kabir had attained such incredible speed in such a short span of time.
Meanwhile, Kabir exhibited exceptional swiftness as he maneuvered past the four midfielders who attempted to impede him. With his sheer pace alone, he left them trailing behind. Upon reaching the penalty arc, Kabir spotted Arvin positioned to his right. Without a moment's hesitation, he deftly passed the ball to Arvin, showcasing his remarkable decision-making skills.
Meanwhile, having executed the pass, Kabir swiftly sprinted toward the defenders, anticipating Arvin's return pass. Arvin, understanding Kabir's intent, didn't disappoint. The ball soared back to Kabir with precision. Leaping into the air, Kabir skillfully directed the ball into the left side of the net with a well-timed header. The entire sequence of events transpired in a breathtaking flurry.
