-Story Start-

-Third Person POV-

Taking a deep breath of the crisp and frigid air, Alistair resolved himself and entered the noisy and seemingly lively Inn.

As Alistair entered through the main door, immediately, the warmth of the inn enveloped him, providing a comforting contrast to the frigid air outside.

Alistair's vision is filled with a decent amount of people at the Lobby's check-in - Not an odd sight considering it is midday and this is one of only two proper Inns in this town.

Upon taking a distant glance to see if he recognizes the receptionist currently on shift, he notices it is Cana and not Mel.

"Hey! Alistair! Come here!" A feminine and tomboyish voice calls out to him, or more aptly put, demands for his presence.

Alistar's gaze shifts to the source of the voice, seeing Mel relaxing on a sofa in the lobby.

"Mel! How are you these days?" Alistair asks with a friendly smirk as he approaches the grey-haired tomboy.

Mirroring his expression Mel responds, "Fantastic! Bringing that idiot was the best thing you've done for us! HAHAHAHAHA" She laughed heartily and perhaps sinisterly.

With a raised eyebrow Alistair asked, "I've heard you've hired him... But is he that good or something?"

Mel let out a conflicted sigh, "Despite arriving late, leaving for unprompted breaks, being practically unruly and uncontrollable, and sleeping on the job... He is performing outstandingly, eerily so. He said he has no experience with service and yet he is outperforming every single one of us, even the veterans with years of service experience. It's creepy... But, why don't you see for yourself? He should be on shift right now, as you can probably hear." She added as she gestured with her head towards the Bar and Kitchen area.

Both Alistair's and Mel's ears couldn't mute the sound of girlish squeals even from a significant distance away.

With a snort, Alistair nodded, "Thanks, I'll go see the situation for myself."

Mel waved him off with a retort, "If he's your friend... Knock some sense into him and get him to not act so impulsively! That way he'd be less of a coin-generating nuisance."

As Alistair was a distance away he echoed out, "No promises!"

-Scene Change-

Passing through the open door leading into the Inn's indoor dining hall - Also being a bar and restaurant, the rustic sight is most nostalgic for Alistair.

Prior to receiving accommodations in the Sword God's Main Dojo upon achievement of the coveted rank of Sword Saint - He had stayed here for a few years.

As such, his surprise was also evident when he noticed a amount of customers that appeared only rarely - When there was a lot of traffic coming in here with visits from other Main Sword Schools or otherwise.

The bar and restaurant seats were filled to the brim with mostly starry-eyed girls of varying ages and a minority of men, some men with gazes filled with hatred fueled by envy. The others also starry-eyed?

Business was booming, and the culprit behind it did nothing to hide it.

One might say, he was extremely proud of it.

In front of Alistair was the iconic and to his misfortune, unforgettable figure of Gojo Satoru.

His expression, was a polite and professional smile as he had a spring in his step.

Those mesmerizing blue eyes were revealed for all the world to see.

Dressed in an impressive Tailored Suit that is iconic of the Sword Maiden's Inn.

The owners of this establishment knew well what they were doing.

For the servicewomen?

Suits that highlighted their curves and hugged their figure generously.

For the servicemen?

Suits that highlighted their muscles and hugged their figure generously as well.

Usually, the cultural standard of handsomeness in this part of the world, and especially the tastes of swordswomen were bulky and muscular men.

Satoru by no rights should have gotten this much attention.

But, it seems, that Satoru has awakened the ignorant masses to the divinity of a lean and yet well-proportioned man.

By all means, Satoru was rocking that suit.

Alistair couldn't help but notice that the patrons of the inn, especially the starry-eyed swordswomen, were spellbound by the attention-grabbing and handsome figure of Satoru.

The room was alive with hushed whispers and envious glances, making the atmosphere electric.

'There can't be any other explanation for this...' Alistair deadpanned in his mind at the starry-eyed swordswomen who were following Satoru's movements with their eyes.

What perplexed Alistair, however, was how well-behaved these Satoru fanatics were despite the questionable and perhaps worrying whispers some of the fanatics uttered that he managed to catch.

All of them, properly seated await their turn to be served as they gaze much like a hungry Dragon at Satoru.

Without much of a blockade, Alistair made his way to Satoru who was currently carrying drinks to a table of four girls.

And by carrying, Satoru was walking with a swagger as the four drinks these gals ordered were floating in the air beside Satoru, their contents still and unspilled.

'Gojo Satoru Is An Amazing Wind Mage... That explains that.' Alistair quickly surmised.

Alistair arrived beside the table, observing as Satoru brought down the drinks to the red-faced girls.

"Your drinks." Satoru gave a polite bow as he let down the floating drinks in accordance with what each girl probably ordered. His professional and friendly smile only widened and intensified, causing one of the girls to breathe heavily.

"M-Mister Gojo! Thank you!" The braver of the bunch thanked Satoru's service.

"It was my pleasure to serve! Please, no need for mister. For you... Just Gojo." He winked at her

...She lost consciousness.

With a smirk of satisfaction, Satoru moved away and directed his attention to Alistair

"Oh! Alistair! Didn't see you there! Been a while! How are you~?" Satoru asked with mock surprise, his professional expression falling apart as his signature mischievous smirk took hold of his face.

Alistair rolled his eyes, "Cut the crap Gojo you knew I was here. But, I've got to say... You're really good at this. Never would have thought you'd have talent for this."

Satoru's smirk widened, "I have a talent for everything~!" Shrugging indifferently he added, "There really isn't anything too hard about this, just act and say whatever will make them like you and pay you the most, and you are good to go! Mannerisms, etiquette, and so on were fun to learn but that's way too easy as well."

Alistair chuckled, "Real humble... I had wanted to speak with you, but since you are on shift right now, I'll return later..." Alistair mentioned as he couldn't help but feel slightly on edge at all the glares of the girls on him.

Whispers of, "How dare he talk so casually with Mister Gojo!"

And whispers of, "Shut up! That's Alistair! He brought him here in the first place! He's an exception!"

Satoru wrapped an arm around Alistair's shoulder, "Alistair! My good friend! This won't do! I'll be ending my shift early!"

With a deep intake of breath, Satoru shouted, "GENE! I'M GOING TO TAKE AN EXTREMELY SHORT BREAK! LET CECIL HANDLE THE REST!"

The entire restaurant shook from Satoru's shout.

But what truly shook were the spirits of the girls who were serviced and or spectating Satoru.

Collective calls of disappointment and sadness were echoed out in this eccentric scene of a restaurant.

A gruff woman's tone of voice responded to Satoru's shout with another shout of equal proportion, "GOJO YOU DAMNED BRAT! WE BOTH KNOW YOU ARE NOT TAKING A BREAK! GET BACK TO WORK!"

Alistair was dumbfounded at how good old Gene the owner of the Inn managed to be rattled by Satoru.

Satoru's smirk widened as he commented at Gene's "approval" of his break, "Lovely lady, ain't she?"

"Normally, she is. You somehow manage to bring out the worst in people, don't you? Well, let's talk outside if you're so bent on an excuse to leave work" Alistair said with a mix of surprise and acceptance as he snaked himself out of Satoru's friendly shoulder wrap.

"First... Rude~! Second... You totally get me! I approve~!" Satoru gave Alistair a thumbs-up, as he led the way forward placing his signature shades back into place, Alistair wordlessly followed him.

'How the roles have changed huh.' Alistair couldn't help but chuckle at the irony of Satoru being the one leading the way now.

The last time that happened was with the Snow Dragon Patrol Duty.

-Scene Change-

Walking the streets alongside Satoru was an interesting experience.

Satoru wished for them to go grab some Candied Fruits to satiate his sweet tooth and Alistair didn't protest the idea.

As they passed along the snow-filled streets and headed towards a more secluded area with a few food stalls, the smell of cooked meat assaulted their senses, and the warmth of smoke coming out of a few of the grills managed to hold back the cold for Alistair.

Parents and their children standing in line to buy rabbit stew brought a smile to Alistair's face.

The children's laughter and excitement radiated a sense of peace in this frozen land.

This peaceful sight was one he enjoyed and was grateful for in this town.

The Holy Land Of Swords is the land of the Strong.

It is because of this, that such a peaceful sight is common.

Nevertheless, eyes and whispers followed our duo along wherever they went, Alistair may be a relatively known figure in this Town, but he for sure wouldn't garner this kind of attention.

He doesn't recall doing anything to warrant it.

As such, the obvious individual behind getting said attention was Satoru.

"Mommy! Mommy! It's that waiter guy!" A child cheered and pointed at Satoru.

The mother hushed her child as she sent a skeptical look at the odd Satoru.

'Why is he so proud?' Exasperated at Satoru's smug expression at being recognized by a child, Alistair couldn't help but wonder.

Especially considering the fact the rumors are... Of the more unpleasant kind.

Alistair couldn't help but ask, his expression genuinely curious "You know, that there have been rumors going around about you, yes?"

Satoru smirked, "Yeah, I'm aware! They're hilarious!" He barely held himself back from laughing.

Alistair arched an eyebrow, "Some of them are quite... Unpleasant you know? "Gojo Satoru Is A Hot Spring Pervert", that doesn't bother you?"

After passing a few enticing stands they arrived at the stand selling Candied Fruits and Satoru replied unperturbed, "Nope! Yo, Pete! I'll have 4 of those Candied Berries!" Satoru pointed at the Candied Berries as he stood in front of the familiar stand owner.

It seems Satoru is a consistent customer of this stand.

"That'll be 8 Asura Copper Coins for all of 'em, Gojo," Pete replied with a rough tone as he handed over the Candied Berries to Satoru.

"Here you go!" Satoru handed over the pay as he wasted not a moment and began eating, handing over Alistair a skewer of Candied Berries.

"Thanks" He replied also beginning to munch.

"I know a spot we can relax at, sh-close to here, follow me," Satoru added, his voice coming out as if he was still chewing.

Alistair at Satoru's midchew sentence, almost choked on his own skewer as he coughed madly, saving himself by gulping the food and letting out a breath, "L-Lead on."

Satoru having gulped his own skewer, and witnessed his friend almost choke to death could only respond appropriately.

By bursting out in laughter, "BAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!" A finger pointed at Alistair whilst his other hand barely held on to the skewers he got for himself.

Alistair rolled his eyes as he took one of the extra skewers from the laughing hyena known as Satoru.

Breaking him out of his laughter, "Oi... That's mine." He said with zero humor in his tone.

"Too late," Alistair said as he quickly took a bite of the skewer.

A tear was dropped from Satoru's eye at that moment.

I say... Deserved!

-Scene Change-

At a small park in the town that had little to no people besides a few kids running around and playing with wooden blunted swords, was a bench.

This bench was the spot Satoru had suggested as they sat down to relax and dialogue.

"So, How are you Gojo? I paid for a month's time for you, in case you weren't sure of your course of action. But I'd have expected you to have left for Ranoa by now. Didn't you want to research Teleportation magic? Nevertheless... You managed to grab the entire town's attention in less than a week! You are something alright!" Alistair said between bites, chuckling at the last bit of Satoru's current fame.

With a gulp, Satoru's eyes stared at the clear and clean blue sky, his eyes expressive as he responded genuinely with a touch of smugness, "I've decided to postpone that course of action. I'll be leaving eventually, but I thought it'd be much more efficient to stay here for a little. That's all~"

"Working as a waiter?" Alistair pointedly asked.

Satoru shook his head in good humor, "I accidentally shattered a large part of the Inn's wall and-"

Alistair cut in, "You shattered a part of their wall accidentally?"

Satoru continued his statement despite Alistair's interruption, "To pay back for it, Mel with her good eyesight, noticed my peerlessness and decided to hire me so I can pay back my dues."

Alistair, still confused asked, "I gave you money just in case so you can get by, why didn't you use that to pay up the damages?"

Satoru's smirk grew mischievous, "And where's the fun in that? Also, I got her to teach me reading and writing in the Human Tongue so it's a win-win! I'm just about done with that, learning the written language is easy when you can already speak it."

Unsurprised by Satoru's overflowing talent and quick learning Alistair carried on.

Alistair gained a look of understanding as he took another bite of his skewer, "I see... Then, technically you have no reason to stay and work as a waiter now do you? What's your next move? If you don't mind?"

Satoru nodded at Alistair's insight, "Bingo. I'll be quitting today or tomorrow, you've come at the right time to see my exquisite skills for one last time~! Working as a waiter was fun for a little, but it's too easy and stale."

Satoru then proceeded to hum as he considered Alistair's follow-up question, "My next move is... A surprise~!"

Finishing up his own skewer Alistair shook his head in humor, "Fine, fine. You do you, Gojo. It was nice seeing you again. Remember, if you need anything don't hesitate reaching out to me or even Relna despite how dramatic she is." Alistair got up, leaving Satoru alone on the bench, having not yet finished relishing his own 2nd skewer.

"Thanks, Alistair. Will do~!" Satoru thanked Alistair genuinely, flashing him a smile and giving him a wave as Alistair nodded and turned around, making his way back to the Sword God Dojo.

As Satoru sat alone on the bench, seeing the kids staring at him, he gave them a quick and absentminded wave of his hand and smile.

They waved back and their attention was drawn back to playing with wooden blunted swords and swinging at each other.

To his pleasure, a cold wind was blowing in his direction, providing a chilling effect on his face.

He found it comforting as he contemplated.

'No matter what I try, it always becomes too easy. Too boring.' Satoru thought in disappointment.

Having finished learning reading and writing, having mastered and having had his fill of a service-based profession.

Satoru had no reason to continue working as a waiter.

Initially fun.

Now boring.

It was because of Satoru's absurd level of talent, that he couldn't find any hobbies... He just got too good at anything and everything to enjoy it.

The only enjoyable aspect left of that job is the attention and the fact he can mess with others.

But he can have those without the obligations and responsibilities that come with a job, right?

Having achieved Freedom upon his arrival in this exciting new world, prolonged responsibility and job-related ties would only hinder him and his goals.

...He had enough of that back home.

This is a Vacation damn it!

Satoru does whatever Satoru wants!

With narrowed eyes that glared at the open sky, Satoru considered, 'Having settled that, I should get going and learn the Sword God Style.'

Now the question remained... How?

'The best teacher would be Gal Farion - The current Sword God' Satoru analyzed.

'How to get him to teach me though?' Satoru fiddled with the options in his mind, as he analyzed his available information at a pace beyond that of a human.

From the information Satoru had gathered and the occasional loose-mouthed mumblings in the Inn, his prior companion, Eris Greyrat is also quite infamous in this town.

The reason behind her infamy?

Beating up everyone below Sword Saint Rank in the Main Sword God Dojo and demanding training from the Sword God - To put it in layman's terms.

Who, to everyone's surprise, accepted with glee.

A smirk began to form on Satoru's face, "I think I understand what kind of person he is..."

The sounds of wood hitting wood, as the kids swung their swords at each other only reinforced Satoru's decision and plan.

Satoru took the last bite of his skewer as he got up and stretched, "Alright! I've been needing something like this for a while~" An excited and perhaps bloodthirsty grin took hold of Satoru's face.

An expression that has not appeared in quite a while.

And that, right there, surely isn't good news.

-Scene Change-

The sun has begun to set and the bleeding evening sky contrasted with the snowing that has just recently begun when Satoru made his way here.

Snow that never landed on him, due to... Abusing his power.

Satoru stood steadfast in front of a large wooden door leading into the most prominent and important set of structures in this land.

Located up on a large hill within the territory of the town, a large dojo, one of the largest in the world stood in place.

The Sword God Style Main Dojo.

It is as large as an entire residential area with multiple structures inside its walls.

Living quarters, a kitchen, minor training halls, and most importantly the Main Training Hall also called "Space Of The Present" - Satoru's destination.

The Minor Dojos are further downhill in smaller buildings and or inside people's homes.

How did Satoru know of all this?

One could say he heard it from the loose-mouthed and arrogant Sword gals who flirted with him.

Another would say he learned of it from his prior surprise visit.

All correct.

But truthfully, Satoru had learned of the entire structure and its inhabitants by... Cheating.

Simply put, he scanned it with his Six Eyes and that was that.

Information only allowed him to place a name on the locations, not a lot more than that.

As explained, truth be told, this wasn't Satoru's first time entering the Sword God Style Main Dojo.

The first time, was when he decided to cash in on that promise from Relna on buying him sweets.

Redirecting honey thrown at him onto the perpetrator as well as her was rather rude of him, he'd admit.

But it was funny as hell!

Ahem.

Anyways, this is the first time he is entering through the formal entrance.

A rare occasion for him indeed, Satoru is an unconventional man.

And it's only polite right? Demanding training through force is fine.

But demanding training after making an impolite entrance?

Blasphemy!

...It would be funnier if he were to just enter like this, no?

"Okay, let's do this~!" Satoru let out excitedly as he took off his shades, his Six Eyes unleashed upon the world, as they glowed indicating the activation of his Cursed Technique.

He began to stretch his muscles as he prepared for combat.

It seems Satoru has decided to take an example from Eris's book.

Satoru was no fool, taking off his shades and activating his technique hints at one thing.

He is not underestimating them.

Satoru, without pause, approached the wooden door and opened it.

The door was large and heavy, but to Satoru, it felt like paper as he effortlessly dragged it open with a resounding and ear-screeching sound.

As the door opened, Satoru couldn't help but let out, "Sheesh they should get their door designs checked... Nearly lost my hearing there." He poked his ear with his pinky at that.

His sight was invaded by a large open area, that is the central area and intersection between the multiple buildings.

In front of Satoru, a group of men and women clad in Dojo Garments, whom Satoru knew prior were there, staring dumbfounded at him, some in recognition, and some in surprise.

With a cheeky smirk, he waved at them, "Just passing through~!"

As he hummed and walked towards his destination - Space Of The Present.

He was eventually stopped by one of the dumbfounded crowd's men who ran and stopped in front of him.

"Entry to anyone below Sword Saint is prohibited. No matter how well-known you are or high standing this is a sacred rule. Even Nina the daughter of Master Gal was no excepti-" He began to preach his case only to be rudely interrupted by... Satoru's Cursed Energy reinforced fist landing in the man's gut.

With a guffaw that had blood, the man was launched at a high speed a good distance before he fell onto the ground unconscious.

At that, a tense and suffocating atmosphere enveloped the whole open area.

Satoru remained unperturbed by this atmosphere.

As the Sword Saints regrouped and prepared to make their move, a sense of shock and disbelief washed over them.

They exchanged puzzled glances, questioning how an alleged Wind Mage could possess such astonishing physical strength.

Their expressions shifted between recognition and surprise, their thoughts racing to process this unexpected display of power.

Some couldn't help but think:

'What is that absurd strength?'

'Isn't he supposed to be a Wind Mage?'

The Sword Saints realized that this "Waiter" was, in fact, a 'Dragon Slayer,' a title typically earned at great risk for a Sword Saint.

A collective realization they all had, all 9 remaining Sword Saints who glared at the easygoing Satoru.

His calm, confident, and jolly smirk only intensified their unease and the suffocating atmosphere.

Silence, choking silence was what could describe the current situation.

Satoru's voice, nonchalant yet confident, cut through the tension. "Well, I'm not a Sword Saint, so this is unavoidable. Lead me to the Sword God, or... Come at me," he said, emphasizing his point with a beckoning gesture. The "Come at me" was uttered with an eerie cold.

This was a show of power, they surmised.

Either comply and lead him to the Sword God, or face him in combat to maintain the dignity and pride of the Main Sword God Dojo and of the Sword Saints.

"Cut the crap! Just because you are handsome doesn't mean you can do whatever you want! Get out of here before we make you!" One of the girls, probably a former Satoru fan let out in betrayed rage.

Satoru tilted his head as he met eyes with her, sending a chill down her spine as he responded, "Make me, then."

This situation was unsettlingly similar to the Eris Greyrat incident, and they, as well, were victims of it.

And, like back then.

The answer was obvious...

Pride and Dignity must be maintained.

Defeat is nothing compared to the disgrace of surrender and compliance.

With a collective resolution, despite their unease, nervousness, and lack of confidence, they all charged at the lone Satoru with swords drawn, roaring.

In a show of exemplary coordination, they all launched beautiful Longswords Of Light at Satoru, aiming to connect with his body.

One of the women let out a bewildered, "Wha?"

Confusion gripped the Sword Saints when, despite their unease, they noticed that their swords remained unmoving in front and behind Satoru.

Their pit of anxiety deepened as they noticed the gleeful and bloodthirsty expression that graced Satoru's face.

Satoru's voice oozed with anticipation as he purred, "My turn~"

To Be Continued!

-Author Note Start-

Yo, my dear friends!

I hope this chapter was to your enjoyment!

How'd I cook? I'm interested in your opinion!

Waiter Gojo was rather short lived it seems! Didn't want to drag it out, and I had an excuse to shove the guy into a waiter's suit for the lols.

Oh, the power of the Author!

But let's be honest, in my opinion. Gojo wouldn't stay in a job for long.

Once he's mastered and had his fill of it and fun, that's that. Man's is gone.

Only if he has an overarching purpose would he stay in it - (Teacher at jujutsu high and or sorcerer ya know)

Also, I've updated the synopsis, since I believe there's some kind of misunderstanding about the nature of this fic and the direction and style I'm going for with it, especially with the pacing. So I suggest going ahead and giving that a quick read.

If you already understand then that's fine. It was written more as a clarification and in hindsight, should've been written prior so as to not waste people's time.

Anyways! Most importantly! Did I portray Teen Gojo well in this chapter? I'd appreciate feedback on this on each chapter! As this is the most critical part of the fic! Woohoo! Feedback! Yes! Although there wasn't much of that in this chapter, but heh.

Have a nice day!
