Capítulo 43: Beryl's Confusion And Making His Move

Beryl had helped several young sorcerers in the past in awakening their magic. To someone of his rank, it was a task as easy as breathing.

And yet today, he had faced something that was beyond his understanding.

'Is this what First Generation Sorcerers are supposed to be like?' Beryl couldn't help but wonder. 'All the kids I've helped only needed a slight infusion of my Miasma to awaken their magic. In case of Asher it feels like I'm just pouring a cup full of water into a well.' He compared.

The Miasma coursing through his veins poured into Asher's body and yet it was as if there was no end to it.

This almost made Beryl doubt whether Asher was a Sorcerer but then realized that if he was just a normal human, this amount of Miasma would have already killed him.

After a couple minutes had gone and Asher seemed to be anxious, Beryl knew it was time to stop.

~huu~

He took a breath, showing slight exhaustion on his face.
