The soft gallop of the carriage made Abi's mind dull. She felt like she had just woken up from a long nightmare. Only, it has not ended yet.

Her chest felt so heavy then even breathing felt effortful. She closed her eyes and tried to find her composure. It was gone, left her foolish self long ago.

Now what was left was her little brain. That told her that she was a fool. Her conscience had been knocking on the locked door for ages. Abi did not have the strength to take her out and listen to her viewpoint. Then what choices did she have?
