Lin Miaomiao and Deng Xiaoqi sat hunched over their sewing project, making final adjustments to their costumes for the upcoming Olympics next week. They were still not finished, and Deng Xiaoqi couldn't help but voice her concerns.
"Do you think it's wise to wear these costumes in that weather?" she asked Lin Miaomiao, her brow furrowed in worry.
"I think the weather forecast says it'll be fine next week," Lin Miaomiao replied, her focus on sewing never wavering.
Deng Xiaoqi shifted uncomfortably. "What about the principal? Is the school really okay with us cosplaying at the Olympics?"
"Of course," Lin Miaomiao reassured her, glancing up briefly. "Uncle said it's all good, and he's the event's spokesperson."
Deng Xiaoqi suddenly had a thought. "Miaomiao, what if I quit the dance club and join the broadcasting room?"
Lin Miaomiao's expression turned skeptical. "Why would you say that? Remember what happened last month on the radio station? I almost got fired because of you. And now you want to join broadcasting?" she scolded, her eyebrows knitting together. "Besides, it's not as simple as just deciding to join. Like me and Ye Bai, we had to pass a test to get in. Qian Sanyi got in through connections. What about you? What's your strong points? Don't jump into things without thinking." She finished with a firm tone, emphasizing the importance of careful consideration.
Deng Xiaoqi felt a pang of disappointment as she listened to Lin Miaomiao's reasoning, knowing deep down that her idea wasn't feasible. However, her eyes lit up with mischief as she leaned in close to Lin Miaomiao's face.
"Can you smell it?" she asked, her hair swaying near Lin Miaomiao's nose.
Confused, Lin Miaomiao sniffed but shook her head in response. Deng Xiaoqi jumped up and retrieved a bottle of shampoo from her cabinet, eagerly holding it out for Lin Miaomiao to smell.
"Do you smell it now?" she persisted.
Lin Miaomiao, not one for these playful antics, sighed impatiently. "Just tell me what you're getting at."
"Why are you so dense?" Deng Xiaoqi huffed, her frustration evident. "This shampoo is the same one Qian Sanyi uses."
Rolling her eyes, Lin Miaomiao adjusted her glasses. She wasn't in the mood for these antics from her love-struck friend.
Undeterred, Deng Xiaoqi linked arms with Lin Miaomiao. "You know, I went to the supermarket and sniffed every single product on the shelves. Now they're probably looking for me. But hey, I'm not giving up," she declared, happily smelling the shampoo. "Because from now on, Yiyi and I will smell the same."
Lin Miaomiao regarded her friend with a mix of amusement and bewilderment. "Are you feeling alright? Oh, by the way, I noticed Jiang Tianhao hasn't been bothering you lately."
Deng Xiaoqi pondered for a moment before responding. "I don't know, maybe he got tired. But I'm not complaining—it's nice not having anyone bothering me anymore," she admitted, though a hint of curiosity lingered in her tone.

Ye Bai wandered through the library, searching for a new book to study with Lin Miaomiao. As he browsed the shelves, he noticed Jiang Tianhao with a female classmate. Ye Bai was a bit surprised to see her, as he recognized her from their school.
Jiang Tianhao noticed Ye Bai's presence and greeted him awkwardly. "Hey, Ye Bai, what brings you here?" he asked, scratching his head.
"Just looking for a book to study with Miaomiao. You know, I've been tutoring her," Ye Bai replied honestly.
"Oh, so that's why Lin Miaomiao has been making progress," the female classmate, Liang Yunshu, interjected.
"Yeah, if Miaomiao needs any more help, please help her," Ye Bai said warmly, smiling at them both.
Liang Yunshu returned the smile, feeling welcomed by Jiang Tianhao's friends. "Sure, I'll keep that in mind," she replied.
Jiang Tianhao also smiled at Ye Bai and gave him a secret thumbs-up before returning his focus to the book he and Liang Yunshu were studying.
Exiting the library, Ye Bai couldn't help but ponder how Jiang Tianhao and Liang Yunshu had come together. Just a month ago, he had been mourning, and now he had someone new. While he was curious about their relationship, he was ultimately happy for Jiang Tianhao and trusted that he would explain everything in due time.

Jiang Tianhao glanced at Liang Yunshu, curious about her opinion. "What do you think of Ye Bai? He's a good guy, right?"
Liang Yunshu nodded in agreement. "Yeah, everyone in our class thinks highly of Ye Bai. The girls envy Lin Miaomiao because of him," she admitted.
Jiang Tianhao studied her expression. "Are you one of them?" he asked teasingly.
Liang Yunshu met his gaze confidently. "Maybe I was, but not anymore," she replied, blushing slightly as she looked back down at the book.
Jiang Tianhao couldn't help but smile at her response. "Alright, let's get back to studying," he said, refocusing on the book as they tackled the problems together.
Liang Yunshu always found herself working closely with Jiang Tianhao, especially in Science subjects. While she knew she couldn't surpass Qian Sanyi, her goal was to outperform Jiang Tianhao and secure the second spot in Natural Science. However, everything changed just a month ago.

A month ago
Liang Yunshu sat quietly at her desk, she had been engrossed in her thoughts, unaware that she was the only one left behind. Lost in her own world, she didn't notice the door creak open.
Jiang Tianhao, followed by his playful friend, burst into the room, laughing their casual game of catch had led them inside.
Jiang Tianhao tossed the ball across the room, aiming for his friend. Sun Chuanchu, caught off guard, fumbled to catch the ball, instead it flew straight towards Liang Yunshu.
"Are you okay?" Jiang Tianhao rushed to Liang Yunshu's side, concerned. He gently steadied her, his eyes meeting hers for the first time without the barrier of her eyeglasses.
Liang Yunshu blinked, momentarily taken aback by his sudden proximity. "I-I'm fine," she stammered, feeling her cheeks flush under his gaze. Then she suddenly became angry "Jiang Tianhao why are playing catch here inside the classroom I will tell it to Teacher Zhang."
The student playing with Jiang Tianhao suddenly ran outside Jiang Tianhao was left alone with Liang Yunshu. He saw the eyeglasses of Liang Yunshu on the floor picked them up and passed them to her. "Sorry Yunshu I didn't mean it please don't tell Teacher Zhang."
Liang Yunshu wears her glasses and looks at Jiang Tianhao's funny face begging she can't help to laugh. "Okay, don't do it again," she said.
Jiang Tianhao was suddenly hit in the heart when he saw her giggling. "As a way of apology I will treat you lunch," he said.
"No need, I'm waiting for Xindi to come back," Liang Yunshu declined, mentioning that Wei Xindi had just said she was going to the bathroom and would return soon.
"It's okay, I'll treat both of you this time. Please don't say no," Jiang Tianhao pleaded.
Unable to resist, Liang Yunshu agreed.

"I'm happy for you that you have someone." Ye Bai said to Jiang Tianhao beside him. They are eating in the cafeteria.
Jiang Tianhao, a bit shy but proud, responded, "I want to thank you and Lin Miaomiao because of you guys, I can't see the girl I'm pursuing now."
"I thought you two were already..." Ye Bai leaned in and whispered, "A couple."
Jiang Tianhao shook his head. "Not yet. The school prohibits couples, and she also has her sights set on studying at Tsinghua or Peking University. Her priority is her studies. But she said after high school, she would accept me. We've gone on dates outside and even held hands."
Ye Bai furrowed his brow. "Then you guys are already a couple, maybe secretly," he suggested.

"Get out," Lin Miaomiao shouted to the male student who peeked into the classroom. The female student in Social Science class is now in full costume. The male students of different classes can't help to observe the activity inside.

"I'll change soon. I'm waiting for Ye Bai. He hasn't changed yet either," Lin Miaomiao replied, taking a bottle of water and drinking from it.
Suddenly, the commotion outside quieted down. Lin Miaomiao and Deng Xiaoqi looked to see what happened and found Ye Bai standing there in full costume, exuding a domineering attitude.

Ye Bai, with a slap of his fan, commanded the attention of everyone. "You all can return to your classrooms now. Our class needs to prepare," he declared, standing with an air of authority. The students began to disperse, and the once chaotic atmosphere around the classroom became peaceful.
"I was exhausted driving away those students. You're the only one who can handle them," Lin Miaomiao remarked, standing beside him.
"Okay, Miaomiao go on and change to your costume." Deng Xiaoqi said to Lin Miaomiao who hurriedly followed her order.
After the Social Science class finished their preparations, they called Teacher Tang Yuanming to join them for a class photo. Tang Yuanming happily joined in, requesting a copy of the photo afterward.
"Xiaoqi, Xiaoqi can you take a photo of us?" Lin Miaomiao handed Ye Bai's phone to Deng Xiaoqi to capture the moment. Lin Miaomiao pulled Ye Bai close for the photo, and they struck several poses together.
Deng Xiaoqi, enjoying the moment, took several photos of them. After she was finished, she returned the phone to Ye Bai, but as she did, she couldn't help but notice that the wallpaper of Ye Bai's phone featured a picture of him with Lin Miaomiao. It surprised her, but she decided to keep it to herself for now. There were too many students around, and it wasn't the right time to ask questions. She would confront Lin Miaomiao about it later, in the dormitory.

As Elite High School geared up for its annual school Olympics, anticipation filled the air. The school grounds buzzed with energy as students, adorned in their class colors, paraded around the track and field, each group showcasing their unity and pride. Though the competition had yet to begin, the spirit of friendly rivalry and teamwork was already palpable, setting the stage for an exciting event ahead.
Ye Bai's presence commanded attention as he moved gracefully through the venue, his Immortal Robe adding to his noble demeanor. Even the way he carried himself exuded an aura of confidence and poise.
Qian Sanyi couldn't hide his surprise as he looked at Ye Bai. "Are you Ye Bai?" he asked, taken aback by the transformation.
Ye Bai chuckled softly. "Of course, but you know, it's all part of the act," he replied with a playful smile.
Meanwhile, on the stage, Teacher Yang took the microphone and began a lengthy speech to kick off the 2015 Olympics. The students and teachers listened attentively as he spoke about the importance of the event and its significance for the school.
"To officially inaugurate the 2015 Olympics, we would like to invite Principal Xie to say a few words," Teacher Yang announced.
The audience erupted into applause as Principal Xie took the microphone. "I want to emphasize the importance of this event," he began, addressing the crowd. "In recent years, there has been a concerning decline in the health of students across China. However, here at Elite High School, we continue to hold the Olympics annually as a means of promoting physical fitness, moral development, and academic excellence. It is my hope that this year's Olympics will showcase the outstanding talents and achievements of our youth. With that, I officially declare the 2015 Olympics of Elite High School START!"
