Capítulo 30: Ch. 28 - The Great Pretender is not afraid of Tai Lung!
Opening his eyes, Leo suddenly saw something blocking his vision.
Lifting it up, Leo noticed it was actually Po's entire arm that was resting on his entire face!
'Goddammit! This is why I hate sleeping with this panda.' Leo grumbled and noticed that Po's leg was also resting on his stomach.
'Heavy!' Leo gasped in exasperation as he lifted Po's legs.
'Why does it feel like Po's legs weigh at least 2 tons!' Leo complained in his mind as he carefully placed Po's leg aside before standing up.
At this time, Master Shifu would start the call and all of them must be awake and standing outside of their doors.
In the movie, Po failed to do this.
'I gotta wake him up.' Leo said and just as he approached Po to shake him awake, Master Shifu's voice suddenly sounded outside.
"Wake up!"
*Thud!*
At the same time as Master Shifu yelled, The Furious Five including Leo himself were already standing outside with straight backs.
"...." Master Shifu looked at Leo with a questioning gaze, clearly asking about Po.
"He's still asleep, Master." Leo answered truthfully and just when he thought that Master Shifu would go and wake Po up in the most harsh way, he was stunned to hear his words.
"Wake him up then, today is the start of his training. He must not be late." Master Shifu said and then walked away, under Leo's shocked gaze.
In fact, Leo wasn't the only one who was shocked as the same goes to the Furious Five.
Where did their strict and stern Master go? Is someone impersonating him? Did Master Shifu get possessed?
"Am I tripping or is Master Shifu very kind today? The last time I remember him being this kind was during his birthday? Wait! Is today his birthday?" Monkey shivered and bit his nails, thinking that they:lol be punished for forgetting their Master's birthday.
"No, you idiot." Viper rolled her eyes at Monkey's exaggerated reaction.
"Maybe Master Oogway did something? I mean, Master Shifu worships Master Oogway similar to a god, so everything he technically says is like the new law of the universe." Mantis shrugged his shoulders, not knowing just how right he is by his words.
"That seems plausible enough." Crane agreed to Mantis's words, finding them reasonable.
"How about you Tigress? What do you think?" Mantis then shifted the conversation to their de-facto leader, Tigress.
Meanwhile, Tigress kept staring at Leo's back who entered back to his room to wake Po up.
Unlike the others, she's the only one who knows why Master Shifu became like that today.
The perpetrator is the man who just entered his room, Leo.
It was yesterday when she overheard their conversation about Po.
How Leo's words made Master Shifu tear up and seemed to have made him remember about his past.
Tigress might not know Master Shifu's past but seeing his expression at that moment made her realize that perhaps, Master Shifu wasn't that kind of person without a valid reason.
"I'm leaving to train." Tigress coldly said before walking away, ignoring the helpless gazes of her fellow Kung Fu Masters.
".....As expected of her, not caring about anything but training. No wonder she's stronger than all of us." Mantis commented and this time, everyone finally agreed with him.
*Boom!*
Suddenly, they heard a loud bang inside Leo and Po's room. Quickly rushing over there, they were met with Po straddling Leo's shoulder like an unconscious person.
"What happened?" Viper worriedly asked, along with the others, she has entered her defensive Kung Fu style out of cautiousness.
You never know when bandits decide to invade the Jade Palace.
Especially thieves, who they always have to repel every once in a year.
It's inevitable for them, after all, Jade Palace is a place full of expensive and priceless treasures left by hundreds of Kung Fu Masters.
A single artifact from the Jade Palace can make you rich without having to worry about money.
This is enough to show why Kung Fu is regarded as the Tradition in the entire China.
In China, if you don't know Kung Fu, then you'll be helpless to bandit attacks and can only be protected by Kung Fu Masters such as the Furious Five who took the entire Valley of Peace under their jurisdiction. After all, the Valley of Peace consists of the world's weakest animals.
Only the best of the best like them can protect the Valley.
"I'm fine. Po is just being stubborn as usual." Leo smiled brightly as he walked past Viper.
"Ughh~ five more minutes...~" Po groaned.
"This might be out of topic but I'm surprised Leo can lift that panda. Is he really a newbie?" Mantis remarked.

"Stand straight!" In the training grounds, the Furious Five including Leo were standing side by side while facing Po who was clumsily trying to stand straight.
But as if his knees were sleeping, Po can't keep a straight posture for 5 minutes straight.
"For the fifth time, stand straight Po!" Master Shifu glared at Po, who gulped his saliva out of nervousness.
"Y-Yes, Master Shifu!"
While Po was bearing the brunt of Master Shifu's harsh training, Leo was taking a look at his status screen.

Seeing that his Black Panther Template is almost 50%, Leo can't wait anymore especially now that the first movie of Kung Fu Panda has started which means that he'd get to fight Tai Lung soon.
Although there is Po who will definitely defeat him, Leo doesn't know how much butterfly effect he has already caused by just being in this world, not to mention being the second Dragon Warrior.
Who knows when Tai Lung decides to target him first instead of Po.
Hence, Leo can't wait anymore and needs to increase the percentage of the Black Panther Template.
As if hearing his cries, a new pop-up screen suddenly appeared in front of his vision.

'A Legendary Item!' Leo's eyes widened in surprise, which unsurprisingly went noticed by Tigress who has been observing him since earlier morning.
'He suddenly got excited? What's got him so excited?' Tigress wondered to herself and noted to herself to continue observing Leo's strange behavior.
Oblivious to this, Leo was jumping in his head out of excitement.
Who wouldn't be? Not only is the Quest very easy but the rewards are very bountiful, especially the Legendary Item which assures him that what he'll get is powerful unlike the Unique ones which is random.
"Now, for your first training. You'll be fighting each of them here, one by one." Master Shifu grinned like a madman while Po gulped his saliva in nervousness.
'I'm going to fight my idols!' Contrary to everyone's expectations who thought that Po was afraid, they didn't know that Po is just fangirling as usual.
"I'll go first then, just as usual." Monkey sighed and stepped forward.
Meanwhile, Po got into a poor stance that made Master Shifu raise an eyebrow, not because of something negative but because he was surprised that Po knows a little bit of basic stance in Kung Fu.
'Did someone teach him that? Could it be Leo?' Master Shifu then squinted his eyes at the furless creature standing on the side of the training grounds, looking at the air in front of him in daze.
'Why does he always stare in the air like an idiot!' Master Shifu can't help but mentally slap his forehead.
Unbeknownst to Master Shifu, Leo was staring at the screen because he just saw a very abundant Sub-Quest!

Reading this new form of Sub-Quest, Leo's eyes twinkled. This is similar to the Sub-Quest of Cooking for the Furious Five!
And seeing that it is the second Passive Sub-Quest, Leo assumes that the first one is the aforementioned Sub-Quest.
'So, it is inevitable that I have to face those villains huh?' Leo sighed.
'By the way, who is this The Chameleon? I never heard of that name in the trio films of Kung Fu Panda, did they release a fourth one just after I died?' Realizing that he lacked the knowledge towards this Chameleon, Leo grew wary.
Just by the name alone, Leo could guess that it could perhaps turn The Chameleon invisible and mix with the surroundings. That is a very annoying ability to deal with.
'Well, that's the problem of the future me, my problem now is Tai Lung.' And for the first time, Leo was tempted to use all of his Gacha Tickets and hope that his luck will be blessed and give him some useful skills that he can use against Tai Lung.
'Especially that Chi Blocking technique of his, it reminds me of that circus girl in the Avatar cartoon series.' Just before Leo could get drowned by his thoughts, he was snapped back by Master Shifu's cane smashing against his face.
"Leo! I've been calling you for five minutes! Stop dilly-dallying there and it's your turn!" Hearing Master Shifu's words, Leo turned to look at Po.
'Jesus!' On the ground lays Po with several bruises on his face and body, however there in his face was a smile plastered in.
'How can he still be happy despite being beaten around like this?'
'Is Po some sort of Masochist?'
