The premise is interesting enough but too much is just told to the readers with not enough of the writing bringing life to the story. I could see how in rewriting it it's possibly a decent story but not as it is.
It was all good and interesting until chapter 370 - 380. For some reason the author seemed not only rushed but also started to insert nationalistic propaganda. Its like someone came in and replaced the author, grabbed the original author's notes and started writing a scripted version of the novels outline(or the author got forced into writing something else, which is why he decided to ruin the novel). It was going nice and smooth, every upgrade had its reason and its build up. But out of nowhere a sudden war with the "west" starts, the MC's identity gets revealed, new op characters get introduced out of nowhere, and for some reason most of the op characters from the MC's side get killed, so as to give the MC more pressure.

The writer wasn't able to make me interested on the MC. It felt already too repetitive after some chapters and there is no tension. Some interactions with the demon beasts were funny.
Yes first there was demon supressing tower in cultivation world now monster suppressing then it would be void beast supressing in sci fi then there would be modern world supressing politici-...ahem anyways it feels like copy pasting generes in every setting
