At first, there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. The foremost form of life was a lone soupy mist called Chaos. This being held all of the matter in the universe. For a while that was it, nothing happened apart from Chaos sailing the cosmos. Eventually, whether Chaos grew bored of her loneliness or wanted something meaningful in life gave birth to the first Primordial, Gaea, mother earth herself. She was the rocks, the hills, the valleys, the whole enchilada. But she could also take on a human form if she most desired.

. . .

Above the earth the second Primordial born to Chaos was created, Ouranos, the sky itself. After time, these two fell in love and got married. Happily ever after? Not quite. Chaos was interested in Its new creations and got a bit creative. It made Pontus the Primordial of Water and Erebus the Primordial of darkness and shadows. Then Chaos really went nuts and wanted to make the sky but underground, this, in turn, was how Tartarus was made. He was the embodiment of all evil and resided in a dark pit far underground.

. . .

Chaos and Tartarus hooked up and gave birth to Nyx the Primordial of Night, then Nyx had a child all on her own called Hemera, who was Day. Chaos yet again created another Primordial, Eros the embodiment of procreation...in other words mommies and daddies. Gaia and Ouranos started to have kids as well, first, they had twelve - kids six boys and six girls. They were named Titans due to their remarkable height and powerful aura.

. . .

After this, their marriage turned sour Ouranus spent all his time in the skies choosing not to visit his children. Gaea grew resentful. Twice Gaea tried to patch things up the by-product of these were two sets of triplets. The first set defined the term ugly, they were as big and strong as the Titans but more brutish, each child was born with one eye. Gaea named them the Elder Cyclopes. Ouranos disgusted by the looks of his children dragged them to the darkest depths of Tartarus. Unfortunately, the second set of triplets didn't fare much better. They were more monstrous than the Cyclopes. Each one had one hundred arms and fifty tiny heads. Gaea named these the Hundred-Handed ones. As soon as Ouranos had layed his eyes on them they were chained and shoved into the pit that is Tartarus.

. . .

Fed up, Gaea began plotting the murder of her husband. Kronos the youngest Titan of the twelve stepped up and offered himself to the plan. He along with four of his brothers, Koios, Iapetus, Krios and Hyperion gathered on a fake date guised by Gaea to get Ouranos away from his domain, where he is weaker. Kronos's four brothers latched onto each of Ouranos's limbs whilst Kronos used a long scythe and hacked away at his own Father thus ending his life. However, Ouranos cursed his youngest son so that one day his own children will cut him down with the same scythe. With this down, the four brothers were cherished by their mother as they celebrated with nectar and ambrosia.

. . .

At first, Kronos was loved by his siblings, he released the Elder Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handed ones from Tartarus gaining his mother's unbridled love. The two sets of triplets responded in kind by constructing a palace on top of Mt. Orthys, the tallest mountain in Greece. In addition to becoming the King of the cosmos, he also gained his domain, that being the affinity of time. As for his brothers the four that helped with the murder of Ouranos were given control of the four corners of the earth and Oceanus the only brother that remained neutral became the Titan of the Seas.

On the other hand, his eldest sister Theia became the Titan of clear-sight ended up marrying Hyperion the Titan of the east.

Then there was Themis she became the Titan of law and fairness, she decided not to marry any of her siblings and remained a maiden.

Next, there was Tethys the Titan of rivers who eventually married Oceanus. That was a no brainer it was like - 'Hey you like water right? Well so do I let's shag.'

Also, there was Phoebe she was nicknamed the speaker of Delphi and was the Titan of the prophecy. She ended up with Koios, Titan of the north, due to the fact they both shared the gift of the prophecy.

Female Titan number 5 was called Mnemosyne - now that's a tongue twist, pretty sure it's pronounced Nemo-Sign - was the Titan of memory. She too like her sister Themis, became a maiden.

Finally, there was Rhea the most beautiful of them all, she was the Titan of Motherhood and animals. She spent her time wandering the valleys associating herself with the satyrs and nymphs that sprung from the remains of Ouranos. Rhea caught the attention of Kronos who eventually got married.

. . .

Everything was going well all the Titans were settling down and having many children, Mr and Mrs water - Oceanus and Tethys - had a daughter named Klymene the Titan of fame, she fell for Iapetus Titan of the West, they had a son named Atlas who was a great warrior and became Kronos's top enforcer and right-hand man. They also had another son named Prometheus he was the supposed creator of humans. Many Titan children were born the most notable was Leto the daughter of Phoebe and Koios. Hyperion and Theia - Mr and Mrs shiny - had twins named Helios and Selene who became Titans of the sun and moon respectively.

. . .

Everything was starting to go well for the Titans at least until Kronos woke up one day to a loud CLANG followed by a BANG. It was his brothers the Elder Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handed ones.

Tired of seeing their ugly faces Kronos asked Atlas and Hyperion to chain up his Siblings, the Elder Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handed ones and banished them back to Tartarus to live out their days.
