Capítulo 4: Chapter Title!!

So it seems I am a master of inconsistency. I failed to heed sleep's advice and instead stayed up late helping and chatting with a friend. So I woke up late and now it's doubtful if I'll get a chapter out before I leave for work. And this is why I don't make a lot of promises, because I like to keep them, and I, am easily distracted. Like yesterday, I don't know how I came upon it, but I was thinking on a line from Romeo and Juliet (No I'm not constantly reading Shakespeare, I just think about the few plays of his that I've read on occasion) but somehow my thoughts wandered to Juliet's line which probably isn't word for word but at least pretty close "swear not by the moon the inconstant moon" and I've always wondered why she said inconstant instead of inconsistent. And generally just assume it was for the sake of syllables, you know Shakespeare and his need for iambic pentameter. (Yes I had to look up the spelling for that) Sometimes I wonder if inconsistent was even a word at the time, (it probably was) I haven't bothered to check. Yesterday I was thinking about it again and instead I was thinking about how inconsistent the moon is, it's constantly changing. But the thing is, unlike my very inconsistent self, the moon changes in a very consistent manner: New moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, Full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, waning crescent, New moon. Not only is it very consistent in its phases (or faces ;), it's also very consistent in the time takes to go through those phases. Thirty days or nights, however you prefer to count it, but exactly thirty either way, the thirty first is the start of a new cycle, which is why blue moons are a thing (at least in the Gregorian calendar). A lot of other calendars' months are exactly the length of the moon's cycle so their month to seasons can be all over the place, but I haven't done much study on them so I can't say with much surety or authority because that's only what I've heard from teachers (who probably weren't studying them either), but there's that.
