It makes sense, it's just a coping mechanism, and I'd even imagine among the emotionless, there are different levels of severity. Don't forget, some of them need to act like spies, and I think true emotionlessness would make acting impossible, as without empathy, you can't act and pretend.
Authors note: Most root ninjas are not emotionless. In canon Shisui, Itachi vs two root ninjas showed that. They were so arrogant that they even attacked ANBU members and both the genius as well as the heir of the Uchiha clan. Even in the anime, it was shown that only a few root ninjas were emotionless.

Maybe you can buy an ethernet making tool? Then you can break it more often in the future and it wouldn't be a big deal? I'd suggest pass-through connectors, but you'll want to make sure you get the tool that can cut and crimp at the same time, there $24 on amazon. RJ45 Crimp Tool Pass Through Crimper Cutter... I hope we are talking about ethernet and not the coaxial cable?
For those who kept counts, I think it's the third time the wiring snapped. The first two times were wholly my fault since I accidentally had my hand hitting the connection box and snapping it. XD

With new magic each day, even without practice, it's inevitable to bypass the limits of the world. I want to know how much his practice and training effects his additional magic growth, is he able to get higher than 10 each day with effort? I look forward to what trait he inevitably gets. Some thoughts for future choices in the future years, the sorting hat? The invisibility cloak or the resurrection stone. Hmm, I wonder if the deadly wand also gives spell casting talent, or perhaps similar but albeit better trait?
Alas, his affinity didn't offer such convenience, preventing him from surpassing the limits of the wizarding world's power levels. It was a pity indeed!
