Firstly, ‘even though’ is used as a conjunction which negates the needs for a semi colon. Secondly, why is there a comma after the word ‘teenager’? So this sentence needs fixing. Eg, “Even though she is just an awkward teenager who can’t even help her pathetic self, Khalila knew …” I also suggest that you end the sentence at the end of the 3 dots in the paragraph (…) and begin a new sentence there instead.✌🏻
